The bag size is 24″ X 15″ X 13″ and you could easily fit 12 to 15 standard size board games in it without having to put them vertically in the bag. I first became aware of this solution when reading Andy Matthews’ excellent review of the Rothco Canvas Parachute Cargo Bag. Based on his review and my own research, here are my thoughts on this bag. Capacity: The Con Carrier bag was designed to hold a lot of stuff and, boy, does it ever. In multiple videos, you are able to witness people shoving a ton of stuff into the bags with room to spare. Many of these items are also of the oblong and irregular shaped varieties such as Mechs vs. Minions and the Starcraft board game. In fact, these items can be laid into the bag horizontally instead of having to be stored vertically or stood on end. That’s a lot of room! Final Thoughts But don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the game. The dungeons can be hard, sometimes almost unbeatable. And because every dungeon is different, it will keep you fighting, looting and dying over and again for many happy hours. Bags with compartments can keep your pieces organized and prevent them from moving around during transport. Takeaway

An excellent way to do this is to use a bag with foam holders or padding. This will help to keep your pieces from being scratched or broken. Plus, it’s water-resistant, so you don’t have to worry about your games getting wet if it rains or your dog drools on them. I've tried all kinds of board game transport solutions throughout the years, but one thing has started bugging me recently: how much space the bags take up when I'm not using them. GREAT FOR TRAVEL OR STORAGE: Keep your board games safe during travel and protect it from dust or dirt build up when you store them in the bag. The size of the Meinl Bag is 12 x 12 x 21 in. You load the board games sideways in the bag and then carry the bag with the top carrying grip. The bag is niceley padded and is perfect to transport you board games safely.

The bag doesn’t come with a shoulder strap. Which is fine if you carry the bag on a short trip. But for longer distances, I would recommend to add a shoulder strap , as it make it easier to carry the bag when fully loaded with board games. The two loops on each side of the RothcoBag will allow you to do so. A great family game introducing players to fantasy tabletop gaming. Small, lightweight and perfect for home, holiday or travel. But anyone who’s ever tried to lug a heavy board game box to a friend’s house knows it can become a frustrating chore.

However, we live in a world where wishing for something doesn’t necessarily make it so. After much consideration, if I had to choose just one of the solutions presented above, I would have to go with the Con Carrier. It’s portable, has a lot of capacity, has a wide shoulder strap, looks pretty good, and it sells at a decent price point as well. The only real downside is that it’s open to the elements, so I guess I’d need to make sure to stow an umbrella in there somewhere. This bag offers the ultimate protection with its ripstop material, waterproof zippers, and padding all over. I've carried a dozen-plus games with this bag and never felt like they were at risk of being damaged. Right off the bat, this bag looks strikingly stylish. The different color options are all uniquely pleasant and the heathered fabric makes it look that much more premium.

A good option is a bag made from nylon fabric, which is both strong and lightweight. But, of course, another important consideration is the size of the bag. For example, if you plan on taking your board games with you on vacation or to a friend’s house, you’ll want to ensure that the bag is easy to carry. Keeping them in a bag can avoid scratches and other wear and tear during transportation or storage.
