Description

Roast vegetables at 200°C (fan)/ 220 °C/ 425°F/ Gas Mark 7 for 40 mins. Best to place it in the middle of the oven to prevent direct heat from the top of the oven. It will look quite dry at this point, however the gammon retains alot of liquid which will be released when cooked. This puree can be used in a variety of different recipes, including sauces, garlic bread, casseroles and stews. If you have leftovers, meatball and pasta can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Infact I find the tomato sauce flavours soaks in to the pasta and tastes even better the next day! We use 2 teaspoon of chilli puree which is equal to 2 chillies. Our favourite way to prepare this dish is in a pressure cooker. However we have given you directions for slow cooker or oven method too. Seriously though even if you don't like them normally give this a whirl it may convert you! If you really can't stand them leave them out. We use our cast iron dish to create all our one-pot recipes.
