My first impression is that of a perfume made in Ireland; Fraoch by BRIAN VINCENT - not in the Fragrantica data base. While I do think this has the smell of Cliniques Aromatics Elixir, it does not have quite the depth and that edge of feminity I prefer. Whereas AE opens with green-woody notes and then drops into aldehydes and stays green, A900 opens with a bright green blast and then settles into a rose surrounded by those fresh woody-herbal notes.

Aramis 900 is, in my opinion, a very underrated fragrance by a master French perfumer which is a refined classic of masculine perfumery.
