This is pretty much everything you’ll get from the box; the XL2430T, the monitor stand and its base, power cord, USB 3. Bit tacky as its like a deflated beach ball material but it looks nice enough and will protect from dust or if you need to move the monitor it has a cut out to access the handle.It might look a little odd at first but personally we find it to be a pretty sweet feature to have, especially when desk space is limited. This VESA compatible monitor can be viewed from the included stand or mounted to the wall to take full advantage of the 170° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angles. The static contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce simultaneously, for example, within one and the same frame/scene. I’ve been very naïve in the past when it comes to monitors but this has single-handedly made my game feel so much better than before.

The backlight uniformity is very solid overall, with a maximum -17cd/m² deviance towards the bottom of the screen. And having other cookies switched off can seriously affect the way you’ll be able to enjoy our services. Each mode is fine-tuned so you can leverage these exclusive presets used by pro gamers to your own advantage. At first I couldn't put it in all the way and every time I tried to change angle of the monitor it came lose and turned the screen off. It's a very good TN panel monitor with great image colours and the video games looks beautiful with this monitor even the console ones.

Most of these picture modes don’t adhere to any specific picture standards, though they do lock out some adjustment options in a few of them. The S Switch Arc is an external controller that comes with preset buttons that can be customized with personal display settings for gaming, work or entertainment use.

We gave this feature a few shots with several FPS games and the result isn’t as what we have expected. The picture mode contains a large option of display output types with different contrast, and color intensities that can be selected according to your current activity. After applying the ICC profile, the color temperature measured 6495 K, just 5 points shy from the standard 6500 K. If you don’t mind a smaller monitor (or indeed, want something highly portable for LAN parties), then the XL2430 is an awesome choice.
