It is very good, up there with intelligent post-apocalyptic sci-fi manga the likes of Akira and Appleseed, but just way more violent. I've also been recommended a wild variety of manga, from Dorohedoro and Mushishi to Sexy Voice and Robo. The manga can be somewhat crude with the way in which the characters suffer and die from these topics, although that is the grace of it, showing us what are the consequences of these issues without mincing words, something that many works do not dare to do, or even censor part of them.

Eden is a series I think that I could quite easily read in it's entirety, the drawing is a great balance between simplicity and detailed study, the whole tone is one that could be labelled as being speculative, the cover states that it's for mature readers, the first volume is in fact quite mild, although I think as the series goes on, I gather things become more explicit, the volumes that come after this one look in turn at the histories of the central characters, although I think before I take them up I may turn to Endo Hiroki's two volume collection Tanpenshu. We also get to know the cyborg hacker Sophia, the gang lord Pedro, the prostitute Helena, the circumstances they faced from birth and the choices they made which eventually entangle their fates inextricably together. The explanation was very poor so we can only infer the rest of the details of this event, in other words, we have to do overthinking; and this is not the worst part of it, during the same episode with another Diabolus Ex Machina courtesy of the house, some random enemies appear and kill her. Not entirely successful, they kidnapped Elijah's mother and sister to keep Enoah from opposing them too much. Being very well developed and running away from the simple "bad guy and good guy", but being in the grayer aspects. H.K by Tatsuhiko Takimoto, (a story whose central character is a hikkikomori), and also Abandon the Old in Tokyo by Yoshihiro Tatsumi, I enjoyed reading both of these books, I guess with manga it's simply a case of diving in and discovering what titles you like and those which you don't, although I'm not too interested in checking out the well known ones.

Récit à suspense, plein de scènes d'action entraînantes, Eden est violent et cru mais offre aussi certains passages empreints de mélancolie qui ne laissent pas le lecteur insensible. Some of them think that this is a masterpiece, others, that it's mediocre or maximum something passable. The world of Eden isn’t for the feint of heart: it’s a testament to Endo’s skill as an artist just how disturbing some of the more gruesome panels in this volume are, and what I’ve seen of further volumes only dials this up. Hooker with a Heart of Gold: Helena (Although the "love interest" part should probably be exchanged for "mother figure. But if you look up lists that include Tatsumi Yoshihiro, you're bound to find other rebels like him.The Automater is an interesting take on the trope, grooming young males she finds to replace the sons she never could have. Kusanagi(with a boatload of differences) while Maya, as an insufferable, obnoxious Enigmatic Minion working as an agent for the evil organization that lurks in the background the alien that wants to assimilate everyone himself clearly parallels Kaworu Nagisa, down to having a less-evil, emotionless Distaff Counterpart that accompanies the hero. Elijah is a prey of the same story, it is not that he moves the same with the decisions that he makes as in this example. The Rant: Each volume has an entire page at the end where Endo rants about something tangibly related, ranging from his work as cook in a restaurant to just ranting on about paraphilia and sex, or even the Japanese economy. After an attempt to harvest coconuts from treetops by hand goes bad, Elijah resorts to using a rifle to shoot its fruits down to the ground.

We meet the central protagonist (at least of the first three volumes) Elijah Ballard, a teenage boy who eeks out a living foraging and looting on his own in an abandoned South American metropolis. Not so this story, it may be confusing sometimes, as Endo jumps in time like Heinlein in “Stranger in a strange land” but there is always something that clears things up.

Finally, Eden endless Worl is an amazing manga with a great story and characters and having an excellent ending that speaks perfectly with everything that there is work had presented. They discuss facets of the bible, and Enoah asks Layne about his father, Enoah only has sparse memories of him.
