You have the choice of the silly "Rotate Tall" mode which fits verticals into the horizontal frame, but doesn't rotate as the camera is turned, so I don't use it; I just have to turn the camera to see verticals full-screen.

After many years of using multiple LP-E6 batteries with Canon 7D, 6D, 5D Mark III and 5D Mark IV bodies, some of them are showing a single red "recharge performance" bar in the battery info tab. For instance, according to the user manual the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, the camera is rated at about 7 frames per second continuous shooting. Canon says it should work with any of the new included LP‑E6NH, the LP‑E6N or even the ancient LP‑E6 batteries, although I don't know if it will charge in-camera with Canon's LP‑E6N or LP‑E6; I haven't tried.
