When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, it will then allow the user the reselection of High mode. The torch features a USB-A discharging port which allows it to be used as a power bank for charging external digital devices. To ensure you know when it's time to recharge the battery, the LR40R V2.0 has a reliable battery status indicator above the side switch. When all 5 LEDs illuminate the battery is between 80-100%, 4 lights means it is between 60-80%, 3 lights between 40-60%, 2 lights for 20-40% and 1 light between 1-20%.
