Not sure why this gets so much hate but it’s hands down the most realistic, mouth watering gourmand body spray or body care product in general that I have ever smelled. At first the scent is super strong and almost nauseating, then it dries down to a much softer nutty scent. i can totally understand why somebody wouldnt wanna smell like this, but as somebody with a major sweet tooth, this stuff is PERFECT! When you first spray it’s the strongest to the point where it’s made me cough but the scent calms down and leaves a nice aroma.

I initially tried all the current Sol De Janeiro scents, and this one had the strongest impression on me - the most gourmand of all.

It can be easily layered with more potent, warmer, fragrances for more oomf, or kept as is for a simple everyday scent. I’ll probably wear this more in the winter, but for now I just wear it around the house :) It has gotten me compliments when I’ve worn it out, people tell me I smell like vanilla or cookies! needless to say i would not recommend this to anyone looking for a starter sweet/vanilla perfume at all and especially if you don’t want something too strong either. This one is disgusting, whenever I come back to this one and try to fall inlove again and again I just have to rush to scrub it off after a minute. I like to give scents multiple tries though on different days, in different moods (you should always do this!original Coco Cabana is more Coconut buttery popcorn vs Cheirosa '71 is more Caramel Coconut with hints of nuts and a buttery popcorn. reviewed this before and reviewing it again because this is the best gourmand i have ever used - smells like fresh buttery caramel pastries without being synthetic at all. I'm not getting the 'buttered popcorn' dry-down that others have noted; to me, I smell more chocolate or the toasted macadamia.

Cheirosa 71 Perfume Mist is inspired by our Brazilian muse Leila Diniz, who celebrated her bikini body at eight months pregnant on the beaches of Rio in 1971. it can be super super sweet and nauseating at first but just wait for the dry down and it becomes this yummy chocolatey scent. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped from international destinations.

Initial spray reminded me of those candles that are labeled “sugar cookie” or “gingerbread”, which I’m not a fan of. Also, there are many votes for this being good value, but it is very expensive for a body spray that doesn't last more than an hour.

The initial spray is a blast of alcoholic white chocolate but the alcohol quickly evaporates and the fragrance comes alive! This one doesn't have that sharp, off putting note that LTGTR has, it's more bearable and smells more like cookies with a hint of coconut. I bought this for layering purposes after watching a Tiktok video recommending different layering combinations with it and I use it solely for just that. Cheriosa 71 is the less louder sister, she's gentle, she's romantic, she's like a shy, elegant, woman from France (based on movies) she doesn't have to be loud, but she's there and you're hooked on her. Definitely a perfume great for pairing, it’s so deeply gourmand and nutty that a nice fruity scent could balance it quite well.

I do agree that it might be settling weirdly at about the 5 hour mark and giving off a weird urine-y type smell. A trick to this is that I love to spray it on my cozy blankets and bedding and wow they smell amazing.
