It's a terrible, terrible smell that I can't seem to get rid of even after the advised 20 mins of rinsing.

I think colour b4 is getting a bad name on here…ive been dying my hair black for 5-6 years and wanted to go back to my natural hair colour…i followed the instructions to the word…leaving on for 60 minutes no less and using clingfilm…dont skip any of the rinsing…i ended up with a light gingery colour which was alot lighter than my natural medium brown colour…but after about a week my hair seemed to darken and ended up very close to my natural colour!

Fine together with your permission let me to snatch your feed to keep up to date with approaching post. You'll want to ensure you choose a hair colour remover that's suitable for your hair type and colour. Hair which has suffered silicone damage has a flat, synthetic shine appearance and commonly the ends will be fluffy or frizzy. Also, naturally, Auburn hair tends to re-oxidise after the removal of darker colours because Auburn hair has a high sulphur content, which can prove more resistant to reduction agents found in hair colour removers and perms.

The newly applied colourant will remove in only these sections, exposing the previous blonde and creating a sun-kissed natural-dark blonde result. For results that are too warm for example honey or gold use a violet purple shampoo or for more intense coverage a red neutralising ash based toner. If you wish to apply a new colour application to porous hair, always select a non peroxide semi-permanent product and apply to wet hair, checking the colour’s development every few minutes. The amino acid cystine is the permanent straightening agent and keratin is the protein that gives the hair shaft its strength. To remove the protein keratin barrier use a shampoo with Sodium such as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate as this has the ability to break down the keratin. If you have applied a very dark or fashion colour (such as vribrant red or purple) to bleached, porous or grey hair, the cuticle may have been permanently stained. This is why it’s always advisable to wash your hair several times with a build up removing shampoo prior to applying ColourB4™ to dry hair. JoBaz’s Hair Colour Remover Extra Strength is one of the most popular and effective products around and helps to wash away any unwanted colour in a matter of minutes.
