I also tend to judge games by whether my family enjoy them as they certainly aren’t gamers and prefer the simple games such as 6 Nimmt. We have so many of their games (Blockbuster, What Came First, Colour Brain, to name but a few) and 3 generations of the family happily join in and look forward to the next game. Each game only takes about 20 minutes, even with 4 players, and there really isn't any chance of ever 'learning all of the best answers', so you'll have a different game every time.
