The whole “Never Touch” series of books are a must have for anyone who interacts with babies through Kindergarten. I liked the rhymes and thought it would be a good baby book as well as a good book to start learning how to read with should it last that long. Not so with this terrific series that has a boldly colored animal on the right side of every page with a large section of that creature containing a contrasting color of distinctively bumpy, swirly, and/or striated rubbery-ness. The story kind of gives mixed messages (though it does address this on the back cover): It repeats on every page "never touch a dinosaur" while encouraging children to touch a dinosaur.
