Maddie is a former now (thanks to her accountant) poor super-model, who has two choices: Closing and selling the detective agency she owns or make it a profitable business. Relive the sharp wit double-talk and sassy repartee as Maddie Hayes (Cybil Shepherd) the steely but gorgeous ex-model and David Addison (Bruce Willis) the wisecracking hustler unlock the mystery to sidesplitting laughter as TV's sexiest private detectives in the last season of Moonlighting. The one thing that I was really pleased to see is that they kept all of the original music to the show (as best as I could determine. My biggest memory of this show is some episode where they finished the story early and had left over time or something and they filled it with Viola getting up on a chair and dancing and/or lip syncing to an oldie. Jeder neuen Folge habe ich vor dem Fernseher entgegen gefiebert, und dann jede Minute davon genossen.

Caron took such an interest in ensuring that the DVDs did NOT contain replaced music, I'm satisfied that the score changes for "The Lady In The Iron Mask" were done at an earlier point in time and with his approval. Moonlighting would still manage good ratings for the 1987-88 season (12th for the season, down from 9th the previous season), but the die was cast. As the show went on the gossip papers were full of stories about Cybill Shepherd fighting with Bruce Willis and creator Glenn Gordon Caron, but whatever truth those rumor might hold, she was perfect for the role. you'll have to wait for the next season set for that gem) was excellent, but the best show, arguably, in the series is The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice (which is included. Paul Mavis is an internationally published film and television historian, a member of the Online Film Critics Society, and the author of The Espionage Filmography.

As in the Willis/Caron commentary track, they point out the desperation of the situation in trying to wrangle this season out, but they're much more upbeat about this particular season than the previous commentators. Created for TV by Glenn Gordon Caron ( Remington Steele ), the romantic comedy/detective drama was a mid-season replacement that quickly became a hit. Among these is the Blue Moon Detective Agency, which Maddie plans to sell off until the fast-talking detective David Addison (Bruce Willis, DIE HARD, THE SIXTH SENSE, PULP FICTION) convinces her that the business can turn a profit. He hadn't had any other real work before this show (though he did appear in an episode of Miami Vice after he worked on Moonlighting, thought the Vice episode was aired first) but does a very credible job.

It wasn't that A Trip to the Moon was a total disaster; there were still small reminders of what made Moonlighting great.thats funny I noticed the same thing about the music in "Witness For the Executuion" and it really made me scratch my head. It was truly a self-reflexive show, with the leads often commenting on the shows' own deliberate weaknesses in arbitrary, ages-old plot twists, or lame humor. Small points that I found interesting: firstly Maddy only wears heels in the pilot - the rest of the time she wears flats (Bruce Willis is not a tall guy) and whenever there is running to be done, if you catch a peep below the ankles she's wearing running shoes. She also looked at ease and natural (not to mention stunningly beautiful) wearing incredibly expensive clothes and furs which she often did in the show.

If you've never seen it, it's like Titanic, watch it hate it, watch it love it, either way you will be wiser (and funnier) for the experience, as quotable and stupid as Woody Allen used to be.This succeeds, but in so doing he finds himself under extra strain, leading to all manner of complications. The series revolves around the cases investigated by the Blue Moon Detective Agency and its two partners, Madeline 'Maddie' Hayes (Shepherd) and David Addison (Willis). When originally aired, the chase at the end of this episode was scored to the "William Tell Overture.
