Noah's life hasn't always been the one he lives now. He's a savvy businessman, own hotels across the country. He never sleeps with same woman twice. That is until he meets Claire. And with one taste, he realises that he can never let her go. I really enjoyed this book, it was so much better than the first two. I may have had a slight problem near the end but I decided not take away stars because I was actually being a little insensitive well actually a lot insensitive. I figure the heroine was being a bit melodramatic about dying But that's just me.

Emma never told her best friend about her long-time crush on Colt, or about the summer when that crash had developed into a secret relationship. Now a local business owner, Emma is once again swept away by those feelings even though she fights it because she knows he is leaving again. Soon. It’s great that this story is told from dual points of view because it enables us to understand what each of the main characters is thinking about, worrying about, and hoping for throughout the story. When Colt and Emma give in to their mutual attraction, every bit of the steamy passion from when they were teenagers is still there, and now it’s incredibly intensified. But the problem remains that she loves their small town, and he still loves his big life. The rest of the book is mostly about them having sex. In between these sessions of sex, they talk about their feelings a bit. How they actually wanted each other, blah bla. Then, comes a minor and stupid plot twist, which sets them apart for a week or so and then they are reconciled. That's pretty much about it.

What happens later is that Shelby doesn't want to go on her honeymoon alone and invites her best friend Ace and he accepts the offer. Another great recommendation! A new romantic suspense author (for me) that will have me hooked on her books!!

Claire has been on the run non-stop. She lost her parents during a horriffic murder by her boyfriend. His is currently in prison, but her life is not safe. His father, a powerful ex-senator wants her to suffer. She is constantly changing jobs, cities, and on the run from her past. After losing her sister Sara- who worked for Trace, she finds herself on the run again. While at her sister's funeral, Noah told Claire that he owed her after they both were victims in the plot to hurt Skye and Trace. Claire finally finds herself needing to turn in that favor and asks Noah for a job. She has been pushed as far as she can be pushed, she is almost out of money and needs to beg Noah for help.

They’re functional and honest about it, they don’t play games or mess around. They’re both feeling it, they’re open about it, and they go all in, exploring their mad lust for each other in a wildly passionate sex-fest that is absolutely sizzling. I love, love, love, love this series. It's perfect length to fit in between longer reads, it's hot as sin, the alpha's are fiercely protective and possessive, (my favorite), there's danger lurking behind all corners, and mostly you suspect everyone before the end. I'll say I had the killer pegged in this one, but I did second guess it once, okay maybe twice. I will continue to say the Cynthia Eden does romantic suspense so damn well. She has ridiculously hot characters that are strong, intense and mysterious. She also writes her killers with chilling craziness to make you on edge when you read her stories.

I adored this book. It’s hard to find good romantic suspense that has a good amount of romance, spice, AND suspense. This book has it all! I really enjoyed seeing the two main characters (MC’s) relationship grow over the course of the story. The romance and spice is on point. The suspense keeps you wanting to know whats gonna happen next… thats my favorite thing about suspense. How are they gonna get out of this situation and figuring things out. Mine to Hold was trully a startling story. It has action, love, fear, passion everything mixed so amazingly together. I think that's one of the reasons I loved their story sooooo much. The other reason is their pasts. Noah and Claire were so alike that it broke my heart to see what these two people had to go through.. Shelby." I say her name. "You are the only one who can make me laugh and get me hard all at the same time," I declare, walking to her. I grab her face in my hands. I didn't like how they had a sex marathon. I love good sex scenes in a romance book but I care about it being emotional, too but here it seemed to be all about sex, not feelings.
