It is a great versatile bbq and I bought it with the stand (the four legs are instantly detachable for travelling), I also have the plate half which is great for things that might fall through the grill or need a flat surface like mushrooms, baby tomatoes, courgette slices, eggs etc. I have a Primus stove and they say only to use Primus gas canisters, screw type. I'm sure all the manufacturers say the same.
