It's also not the easiest book to follow on audio because of the format, which tends to follow individual people rather than work chronologically. So key events in the timeline are covered over and over: (Then) Princess Elizabeth and Prince Phillip "set off to Kenya", Winston Churchill steps down multiple times - to name a few examples. These are the ones that caught my attention, I'm pretty sure there are loads of less prominent events that I missed simply because I didn't remember them happening when they were covered first time around. This final book of the series is darker compared to the earlier books. But at the same time I admired her, because she came a long, long way and her mistakes and flaws made her the only person that could defy and defeat the Evil she unleashed.
