as far as the plot goes, it didn’t really exist and what there was, wasn’t anything too interesting to be honest. killian has spent his entire life thinking he is 'defective' the word that asher himself used, and then threatened his own son in front of his new girlfriend, telling her she can do better. She does everything to escape him, fearing he’ll see deeper into her own secrets and darkness and Killian for all of his lack of emotions seems to see all of hers and knows her better than even she does. He could’ve stayed away and avoided us, but he apparently thought paying us a visit was the right thing to do. I am intrigued to see what direction the stories take when the focus is on some of the other characters, because I don’t think it is possible for there to be a man more deadly and unmoveable than Killian.Well, I cannot because one I am a freak with weird fantasies and I enjoy reading this shit and two I have no self-respect so we love toxic masculinity in 21-year-old psychotic boys, sounds right? you can tell his irrelevant ass was only added as comedic relief to this series, and i'm actually glad he isn't getting a book or being coupled up with cecily because that would've aggravated me more. just because you refer to yourself in the 3rd person and give yourself an obnoxious nickname it doesn't make you funny. Because if you don’t like reading about this kind of guy, then you shouldn’t be reading Rina Kent books. I think these chapters will be very nostalgic for longtime readers, but as a new reader they felt like unnecessary filler and it took me out of the story.
