There’s so much information available online when we’re shopping now, that it’s easy to find lots of detail about products like Hi-Gear Horizon 700 Air Nightfall Tent. This is of course really helpful, but there’s almost too much information available, so it’s important to know exactly what you’re looking for. To give that price some context we then looked at all of the products available from Go Outdoors in the Weekend Tents category. We found 16 items in total. What’s the price of Weekend Tents? Another factor that can be a great indication of product quality is the brand. Brands like Hi-Gear are of course extremely well known, especially for Weekend Tents.

The front porch area is provided with a separate groundsheet. This is handy as it gives you the option of whether you want it in place or not. Some like to feel the cool grass under their feet whilst in a sheltered area, and many campers also like to have no ground covering in areas where they are cooking/preparing food.

The nightfall bedrooms are of a good size and have plenty of vents you can open or close the are easy to fit we left them in and connected when we put the tent away remembering to leave all the doors open to let the air out . The picture also shows numerous storage pouches on the wall of the inner tent. There are three inner doors that are equipped with mesh sections for ventilation. This is a big tent, but one person can easily set it up in 20-30 minutes or so. The official pitching time is 30 minutes. The HiGear Horizon 400 has a fitted floor in the living area and it comes provided with a separate ground sheet for front porch area. This leaves you with the option of whether you choose to fit it or not.

I have already mentioned the doors with their mesh for ventilation. The main door is deep under the porch so you can have as much air as you want. The inner tent hangs attached to the shell so there is a gap for air circulation between the two layers. Nightfall Bedrooms - With integrated curtains keep the dark out or let the light in as it doesn’t always need to be dark. This tent also comes with a repair kit as well as a spare beam tube too and an air pump for inflating. The colour coded pegging system is very handy, meaning the right pegs go in the right place to do the right job. If you have used this product please leave a review, or your comments for other visitors, many thanks! The Hi Gear tent range are winners of the Best Family Tent 2020 award from the Camping and Caravan Club. They do not provide information about the floor, but it is bathtub style and most likely polyethylene. It is fully sewn in and sealed. Note that the inner tent has yet another floor, so you have two layers of floors in the sleeping area. When buying Weekend Tents, the quality of the product is going to be one of the factors that you really scrutinise before you commit to buying.

So the total floored area is 260.5 ft² (24.2 m²), and this means 37.2 ft² (3.45 m²) per person. There are no many tents that can match this. But there is also its large porch that adds 114 ft² (10.6 m²), you have already seen that it is fully protected so whatever you put there will be safe from the rain. The flysheet on this tent lets in plenty of light, making this a very nice and airy feeling living space. The side door is a nice large size, giving easy access and letting in plenty of fresh air. It is fitted with a mesh panel for keeping the creepy crawlies on the outside. It’s got a decent rain canopy too should the good old British weather decide to do what it does best. So here you have a very large camping shelter built in the tunnel shape and with an inner tent under the shell. This inner tent area includes three separate bedrooms. You can see it in the floor plan below that shows the rooms and dimensions. The floor plan and the most important dimensions.

Moving into the centre living area, you will see from the photos that it is large enough to comfortably fit a table and chairs. The Horizon’s boast a huge living area which has an enclosed porch area with multi use door or vent screen. The secondary door is oversized, so when open it creates one large living area giving you all the space you could ever need. And if you want even more space, there is an optional side porch available. The bedrooms and the living area has a sewn in groundsheet and the tent comes with a front area ground sheet which you can use or not. Extensive Venting System – Low and mid-level venting which is adjustable to suit your camping and weather needs.

There are currently no images uploaded by members for this Tent. If you have a photo, be the first to upload one. Deluxe Peg Sets – Massively improved Peg Sets with coded location guide designed not to let you down. The support: There are no poles here, you have 5 long inflatable beams. This is what they call the Airgo technology with welded TPU tubes. The position of the tubes is shown with the red lines in the floor plan picture above. Note that the living room has 146 ft² (13.6 m²), and it is fully sealed so it can easily accommodate 7 people more. All in all, this is a camping castle, and it can accommodate far more users that what its official capacity suggests. The dark gray area is an incredibly pleasant living room with windows on its three sides. On the front you have a very deep porch which is fully protected. I could describe it as yet another floorless room. This is a great space for your camping chairs and tables. So here you can cook and enjoy the views while still be fully protected from flying insects and the rain. That’s why we’ve pulled together this list of key factors for Hi-Gear Horizon 700 Air Nightfall Tent below, to help you choose if it’s the right product for you and your budget. The material the product is made from is often a sign of the quality for Weekend Tents. Take a look at the product details over at Go Outdoors to get a feel for this. This living and bedroom area has a built in groundsheet, so no worries if it gets a bit wet or muddy, you will be nice and dry inside. There are three of them, adjustable and they sit at roof level between the beams of each area of the tent. Above the bedroom pod, in the living area and in the porch. They are very easy to adjust and fit, that is unless you are challenged in the height department. Don’t worry about this though as you only really need to fit them if it does get breezy as the ample guy lines and storm straps around the tent will do the business for most of the time. That got us thinking though, that we’re looking at every possible item from Hi-Gear so it would be good to narrow our search down even further and only look at Hi-Gear branded products within the Weekend Tents category.
