If you love Kroot, this is about as good as you can hope for, with the line getting a total revamp, even including the regular foot troops. However, these are pretty old models and could use a rework, and Kill Team is the perfect place to do it! These guys are brick and you can really customize them however you want with lots of options to choose from. Tellingly, they come with a Power Sword Intercessor arm, and a little backpack icon, yet the Intercessor Sergeant has the standard "bolter strapped, pistol out and up, checking my forearm screen" build.Wondering if there is at least an upgrade sprue in here, since it wouldn't even be good value if there isn't. I would have thrown in there 3 Outriders instead of the Hellblasters just to have units from all the wings, but it isn't bad.

It makes perfect sense from a GW point of view - keep the HQ out of the unit in combat patrol so you don't have a mini deathstar and have an extra independent piece and then also pushes the person moving on from combat patrol to get a gravis unit to escort the captain and leaves them open to any of the HQs to join the other squads. Famous for their intractable gunlines, favoritism towards plasma weapons, and keeping some big secrets, I think we have a theme we can work with here to get to 2000 points.
