This is a retro exaggerated oversized fit. If don’t want an exaggerated oversized fit then size down for a more standard but relaxed fit.

Surgery may be needed if you have badly damaged your knee. Some people may also need surgery to stop the knee from dislocating again. The standard fit sweatshirts and 1/4 zip sweatshirts have a standard relaxed fit. For a true to size fit got for your usual size. It can take 6 to 8 weeks to fully recover from a dislocated kneecap, but you will usually be able to walk using the affected knee within a few days. Recommended rough size chart for products, unless stated otherwise in title or description i.e. Oversized (this will fit the next size up). As products are true to size, if you want to achieve an oversized / relaxed fit, we recommend choosing the next size up. Sizes may vary very slightly across the brand to approx sizing below. Standard fitting, go for your regular waist size. We have huge improved the fit and fabric of these to make them more relaxed alongside more flexible. We have added a slight bit of stretch into the fabric itself.

You may be given a knee support to wear for 2 weeks to help it heal. If walking is painful, using a crutch may help. Your doctor or a physiotherapist will show you knee exercises that you should do regularly to help speed up your recovery. Things you can do to help your recovery
