This group of best friends can take your child’s mind on some fab adventures where they can use all their skills, knowledge and vet tech to care for all the different animals. A fab unique twist with these Vet Squad Playsets is that they have partnered up with the Charity Sea Life Trust. We were sent three different types of playsets to try out and let you know our thoughts on and they were The kids couldn’t resist with this boat but to put it in water, although it is a bit heavy and probably not designed to float it can actually as long as you don’t put the action figure in the boat as well.

A fun, brightly coloured playset with interesting characters and equipment that expands imaginative play, providing hours of play time. An excellent gift to unwrap on Christmas morning. Helicopter Air Adventure – This is Vet Robin’s rescue helicopter that she can fly over all hills and see for miles to help spot the injured pony. We love role play toys and this has only encouraged Evie more to become a vet when she is older. These are available at all good toy stores and would make an ideal gift for Christmas! The Forest rescue set contained a 4×4 and baby elephant who has an injury to his ear. The animals included in the sets all have something that the vet needs to make better. Each of the toys are great for little hands and although there are a lot of small parts there is a lot of attention to detail. Ava is always the first one to get there when an animal is in danger. She grabs her favourite quad bike and races to the rescue. She loves dancing and wouldn’t go anywhere without her faithful companion, Leo the cat.

So we had an easy decision when we were asked to review the Yara’s 4×4 Adventure Jeep: Safari Expedition from Vet Squad. In our house we have an animal loving eight-year-old whose favourite animals are unicorns and giraffes. The Vet Squad jeep comes with a poorly giraffe, so she was chomping at the bit to play with it and put it through its paces. Yara is a skilled medicine maker who never goes anywhere without her magic potion! When she zooms in on an injured animal, she races to the rescue in her favourite 4×4. When she’s not mixing potions, she likes to get creative and make art with Luna, her rabbit. Toy-play’ style webisodes and a heavyweight TV campaign are underway to support the launch of the new animal-rescue range Vet Squad.

We were kindly sent a selection of the new Vet Squad toys from Vivid Toys & Games and we knew straight away they would be a huge success. There are lots of girl figures which was amazing as a lot of professionals in toy sets are male. Great to see some positive female professional figures. Well it is that time of year again where all the advertising on daytime and early evening television seems to be children’s toys. We can already hear the cries echoing around the country of “I want that”, “I want that too” and “Will Santa bring me one of those?”. With a plethora of toys on the market, where do you begin? Emily is a real tech expert; she always has a new idea how to boost the squad’s vet-tech. If an aquatic animal is injured, she hops in her speedboat and heads down to Rescue Reef to save the day. When she’s not on the rescue, she loves listening to music with her favourite pet friend, Brooke the dog.Forest Rescue – This is Vet Ava’s Quadbike that has real rolling wheels to help her trek across the tuff terrain to find and help the cute little elephant that has cut its ear. Ava Vet figure comes with cool sunglasses and a handy a kit box. The webisodes will be amplified with a robust digital campaign; a bespoke interactive game highlighting the colour change ‘injuries’ on the pets will be distributed across the Super Awesome network. The Vet Squad are made up of a girl squad of explorers with the Vet characters being called Ava, Emily, Yara and Robin, who are always at the ready to rescue some beautiful animals from around the world. We have trekked the jeeps through mud, floated the speedboat in water and even manged to see if the helicopter would fly down the stairs (it didn’t by the way, but worth a try I guess) Yes… Yes… Yes… To be fair we can’t fault these Vet Squad Playsets. Our kids proper bashed them around and they are still standing, took heaps of drops even on the slabs in the garden and nothing broke, so they are definitely robust.

Eliza and Max absolutely love small world play. They will spend hours creating their own little worlds and adventures, and so I knew the new Vet Squad toys would be a hit in our house.
