What does it mean to “die with memories, not dreams”? It means that we should focus on creating meaningful experiences and memories, rather than just chasing after an idealized version of our lives. I still have my dream to meet His Holiness Dalai Lama, and if possible, with Karmapa Lama too, in Dharamsala, India. However, even if I don’t have chance to meet them, I’ve already been so grateful being able to learn some important lessons in life taught by them from their books or their dhamma lesson online. I think that’s more important than just meeting them in person. The air gets so cool, the wind is crisp all making long walks bearable. If you walk at night, you’ve probably seen a harvest moon - it is the best looking moon ever. The sky is clear and the moon is orange as if a pumpkin was sitting in the sky. Well, there must be something that I can do. I may not know it now. But I’m sure, there must be something that I can do,” I insisted telling him about my dream. He just nodded his head again. Hahaha… Even the person who knows me well doubted my dream. But it would only make me more eager to make it realize though, to prove him wrong, that there must be something that I can do for them. What is it? I may not know yet.

The story on this book would mostly come from her own experience in her life. With only reading the front part of it, I had suddenly had this thinking to do something for the rest of my life. On the other hand, when we focus on creating memories, we’re more likely to enjoy the journey towards our goals and dreams. We’re more open to new experiences, more willing to take risks, and more appreciative of the people and things that make our lives worth living. Be open to Change: Memories can be a reminder that life is constantly changing and evolving. Embrace the changes and be open to the new memories and experiences they can bring. Create New Traditions: Establish traditions with family or friends, like an annual camping trip or holiday gathering, and look forward to them every year.Too often, we’re told that our happiness and fulfillment depend on achieving our dreams. We’re taught to set lofty goals for ourselves and to work tirelessly to achieve them. Embrace New Experiences: Some of the best memories are made by trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone. Record Your Experiences: Keep a journal, take photos, or make videos of your experiences to remember them for years to come. Live with Intention: Memories can be a reminder to live intentionally, making deliberate choices that align with your values and goals.

We should make the most of every moment, cherish the people and things that we love, and live our lives with purpose and intention while aspiring to make our dreams come true. I would die right now with those memories than live the rest of my life just dreaming to be able to do those things. As the quote says Description Die with memories not dreams. Every time I meet someone and inspire them to make a memory its another awesome memory for me. When we’re so focused on achieving our goals, we may overlook the small joys and pleasures of everyday life, and fail to appreciate the beauty of the world around us.Content highlighting – users can choose to emphasize important elements such as links and titles.
