Living with allergies and asthma requires a home equipped with air filters and/or purifiers. We’ve been able to test out a few filter systems in our home, and with COVID a new concern, our requirements are even greater than before. This new Air Purifier from Instant Home adds some impressive new features we’re trying out. Bottom line: the Instant AP300 is proving that it’s a seriously effective room air purification tool. From its advanced filtering, to its enhanced germ killing technology, and its easy-to-live with design, the Instant AP 300 is very easy to recommend. It’s intelligent automation relieves me of having to fuss over one more thing in my life. The biggest surprise of all is how it matches the performance of a purifier costing 5X its price. The AP200 Instant™ Air Purifier is ideal for medium sized spaces like kitchens, home offices and bedrooms. It can remove 99.97% of ultrafine airborne impurities and 99.9% of virus, bacteria and mould particles from treated air ¹ .

When it comes to price, Instant air purifiers are somewhere in between the cheapest air cleaners and those that make you spend hundreds of dollars on a unit itself not counting the maintenance.Plasma Ion Technology and Triple Protection Filtration removes 99.97% of ultrafine airborne impurities, including allergens and pollen, and 99.9% of virus, bacteria and mould particles from treated air. In Auto operation, your air purifier uses plasma ion technology. Although it sounds high tech (and it is) it's safe and natural. Plasma ion operation is automatically turned off during Night Mode. If you want the purifier to operate in full AUTO mode, you’re done. Personally, I don’t think the filter will last longer than 6 months. Even Instant points out that their calculation on filter life is based on running the air purifier in eco-mode for 24 hours per day. So if you’re going to run it at a medium speed 24/7 the air filter might wear out faster, after 3 or 4 months of usage.As you can see from the table above, the number of air changes per hour drops significantly after 600 square feet. And spaces over 900 sq. ft. won’t be properly ventilated at all (required minimum for living room is 2 ACPH, see recommendations). But as for the advertised space of ~ 400 sq. ft., Instant air purifier AP300 definitely works. In rooms smaller than 400 sq. ft. this air purifier will definitely remove any allergy symptoms (especially if you consider pollen as a source of it). A sensor monitors the concentration of the mass of particulates in the air. (ug per cubic metre). Also, known as PM2.5 sensor. AP200 models Colour Indicator and % of the cleaner air measured (based on particulates detected by the Sensor, which is translated to a % of good air quality as defined above). The LIGHT level of the display can be manually selected (4 levels) but it reverts to AUTOMATIC during the next DAY or NIGHT mode occurrence. Holding down the preferred LIGHT mode for 3 seconds keeps it in that setting. Yes, but it’s less than 0.050 parts per million per day which is considered safe number. In addition, in Night mode the ionizer is turned off automatically.
