Look I'm sorry, guys, you're really sweet, but I'm a girl and you're gnomes and it's like, "what?!" Yikes. Right, guys? Queen! Queen! Heh! So whaddya say? Will you join us in holy matri-gnome-y? Matri matri mony? Bleahh! Can't talk today. Andy Gonsalves is a designer, illustrator, and storyboard artist who works in the wonderful world of television animation. In addition to his work on popular shows such as Gravity Falls and Uncle Grandpa, Andy is also known for his original designed T-shirts which are worn by people around the world. Before the official title of the book was revealed, it was referred to as Dipper's Journal during the "Gravity Falls revealed" panel at New York Comic Con in 2015. Uh Thanks? Better safe than sorry! Mable, now that we've gotten to know each other, there's There's something I should tell you.

The Journal says that the events of Blendin's Game takes place between July 29 and August 22, but the episode itself says it takes place on July 13, Soos' birthday. To begin, I suppose that I should note the Journal is best enjoyed by people who have finished watching Gravity Falls. The first section - the Author's original notes - are enjoyable without any context, as well as Dipper and Mabel's additions that they make throughout the show's run, but after that, things kind of require the context of the show to be fully understood and appreciated. There is strength in having the humility to work with and sacrifice for others...And now that I have children that are old enough to appreciate this show, I get to experience it all through their eyes, and it’s like watching it for the first time all over again. Look, kid, the whole "monsters in the forest" thing is just local legend drummed up by guys like me to sell merch to guys like that. I was surprised when Ford and Stan had decided switched places to defeat Bill because Stan was a selfish man, giving up his entire life for his family. I was moved when Mabel and Dipper had gotten mad at each other because it not only happened before a terrible disaster, but Mabel and Dipper have promised each other earlier that nothing similar to Ford and Stan would happen between them. I decided to consult the journal "Known for their pale skin and bad attitudes, "these creatures are often mistaken for Teenagers?! "Beware Gravity Falls's nefarious 'Sup? Zombie!" Did somebody say "cromby"? What is that, "cromby"? It's not even a word.

Gravity Falls: Journal 3 helps explain pretty much every weird thing you have and will ever see. The 3rd Journal is a fictional book and falls under mystery and fantasy. I personally enjoy this story of pure weirdness. Huh? Baaa! What the? "It's hard to believe it's been six years since I began studying the strange and wondrous secrets of Gravity Falls, Oregon. Fiddleford is stated to have met Blind Ivan when he was still working for Ford, and secretly recruited him into the Society of the Blind Eye without Ford realizing, by slipping him a card with the society's symbol. However, in the show, Fiddleford is stated to have founded the society after parting ways with Ford and after he erased his memory, basing the symbol on a crossed-out blueprint of the portal. One of my most anticipated books in 2016 after I watched Gravity Falls and completely fell head over heels with the series.

It was so much fun to see the information about the monsters, and also see the notes from Mabel and Dipper to various things when they figured out what would help against x monster. While I appreciated the sections Dipper and Mabel added (as it tied in with the show where Dipper was in possession of the book), I really read this book for Ford Pines. He's a brilliant, sometimes oblivious man, who means well but doesn't quite get there. His words are often as eloquent as his handwriting, and his witty quips that fill in the notes of the book never failed to make me smile. Every crossed out section referring to his brother made my heart ache, and we finally got to see his relationship with Fiddleford in depth. There is just one thing that I would like to have, Journal 1 and Journal 2. I want to know what is in those, what codes/cryptic messages are hidden in there! So when I learned they were making a real-life edition of journal three, just like in the show with information added in as if Dipper himself had written it in corresponding to the various episodes of Gravity Falls, well...needless to say I was ecstatic. The setting of the book is important because only Gravity Falls can have such weirdness in its boundaries. The narrator is reliable because he is the character in the story and this is his journal entries. A theme that recurs throughout the book is that weirdness is in the world for a reason. This theme can be seen when Ford talks to Dipper about how them being in Gravity Falls was similar to a destiny. Ford motivation is to find his purpose in life and find out where something weird like him belongs.
