The Play Sets may be Disney Infinity's great adventures, but for many players, the main attraction are the Toy Boxes. These are a surprisingly complex level and world editor, bursting with possibilities. Different from the console and PC versions, the Nintendo 3DS version of the game, called Disney Infinity: Toy Box Challenge, is a party game, in which up to four players play on various themed game boards and participate in various minigames. The Toy Box mode can be used to create new game boards. The Toy Box mode removes most restrictions and allows players to create a custom game in an open world environment. Every character, weapon, gadget, vehicle or environment can be mixed. The tools tied to the mode are introduced through a number of in-game tutorials. A portable Toy Box became available in late 2013, for the iPad. [7] A version of the Toy Box is also available for Windows PC. These versions of the Toy Box utilized the web codes included with each Disney Infinity character. The first is that the product is only out there to make money and try to get some of that NFC dollar that Skylanders raked in. I don't see a problem with this. If you saw a successful business model and had the capacity to emulate it with a AAA quality product, why not do it? It's just business.
