I am once again left curious at the end of this volume. I really want to know what sort of business that Kyohei is planning to start. Their relationship grows, but they have some inner problems. Kaya isn't sure whether she is just a "meal" for him, just his secretary, or something more. Kyouhei believes that Kaya is only doing her secretarial duty by keeping her boss in good health, which is what she says, but he wants her to let her guard down. I honestly haven’t read much new manga lately. I’ve spent most of my time reading non-graphic novels and non-fiction books, so my manga reading list has grown steadily longer, causing much anxiety. Also, because I tend to read series when I buy them, it’s taken me ages to get through manga these days. That’s been the main reason behind the delay in Dorohedoro updates, and why I haven’t written a review of Witch Hat Atelier even though I really love it. I’m just following everything very slowly and buying volumes when I can.

Both the story and artwork for Midnight Secretary Volume 2 are by Tomu Ohmi, and are really well done. I felt the style is well suited to the story and very clean and crisp. Now, I did mention this is an ADULT manga, and as such there are adult situations including sex and nudity. The sexy content in this volume is increased...... by a lot. This manga is NOT suitable for children or younger readers. Also, If you find themes like machismo, domination, or retro gender equality uncomfortable, you may want to skip this series. All in all I had a lot of fun reading Midnight Secretary Volume 2 and intend to continue on with the series. Japanese manga is one of the best types of comic for you to read. Manga has amazing art style and exciting storytelling. Nowadays, with the help of webtoon – a kind of webcomic that allows you to read comics by scrolling easily, manga is adjusted in the webtoon form and free online manga brings even better experience to readers.

Midnight secretary...actually this manga was the first Josei I read. But my opinion is based on my experience reading shoujo, seinen and mature titles, not on the shounen/action/martial arts titles I know what I must look for and what I should not expect. For his part, Kyohei really is a bastard. He seems to go out of his way to be a bastard, especially towards Kaya and his older brother. Though, there also seems to be a thoughtful side to him, too. And after a while, he really comes to depend on Kaya and appreciate her as a secretary. He doesn't hesitate to remind her that she's plain, though. Until he sees her all dolled up and notices that she really isn't plain at all. She goes out of her way to make herself look severe because she's self-conscious about her baby face. It isn't long before something happens between them. Kyohei doesn't seem to know how to deal with it and just when I think he's figured it out, he makes it about her blood. I think there's more to it than that, but I wouldn't be surprised if Kyohei doesn't understand his own feelings when it comes to something other than sex or drinking blood.kept saying herself "Oh, I fell in love with a bad man, but I have to serve him in everything for being his secretary", these moments made me roll my eyes many times.
