Like several other montage types, this is deconstructed for horror effect in Doctor Who, "Forest of the Dead", in which we see Donna undergo a Falling-in-Love Montage only to find out that it actually happened that fast, taking place in a virtual reality world which relies on the human brain mentally filling in the extra time to avoid confronting the constant disorientation. As long as we both get what we want, no strings, just good old-fashioned girl-on-girl kissing, then what's the problem?

Kids at school read about them in the paper with pictures of their dates, then they are watching a movie together, then walking and holding hands (while a river parts so they can walk on the dry bottom) and Edna is reading a story to his sons.It's all the things we used to do that we'd never do again and all the things we'd never do for the first time together.

The world is big and open and for the main character’s taking, if only they can overcome a certain set of obstacles. It has amazing, fabulous, and fully dimensional characters, while also hooking readers with a sense of suspense.

Code Geass does this with Suzaku and Euphemia in episode 5, though their conversation plays while showing them walking around the city after their Meet Cute. It’s a layered and emotional story that will tug on your heartstrings just as it makes you laugh out loud.In the episode " Bart's Friend Falls in Love", Bart's class is shown a Troy McClure movie about puberty, with Troy narrating as "Fuzzy Bunny" meets new girlfriend "Fluffy Bunny" and they start dating. After tending to wounds sustained from crashing her Villkiss, Ange lets Tusk get to work on repairing her machine, which takes about a week.
