Marvel Studios: Legends released its first two episodes on January 8, 2021, on Disney+. [1] Additional episodes were released before a character's appearance in a Disney+ series, special, or film. [12] [3] The "Mantis" and "Drax" episodes were removed from Disney+ shortly after their release on November 23, 2022. It is believed the removal was because of the inclusion of a deleted scene from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in the "Mantis" episode, where the character was revealed as Peter Quill's sister; this was assumed to be a plot point that would be featured in The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. [27] Both episodes were later restored. [28] [23] I hate this stupid female SHIELD agent mold, and the fact that it’s a reuse of an old Rogue head (which I’m sure is why it doesn’t look particularly great) doesn’t really make me happy. a b c d Bonomolo, Cameron (August 9, 2023). Eventually infiltrating an organization known as the Kubekult, Sharon learned of its plans to resurrect the cloned persona of Adolf Hitler, aka the Hate-Monger, via the Cosmic Cube, and she became the unlikely ally of the Red Skull, who opposed the cult’s efforts to conquer the world before he could. To aid their mission, the Skull revived the temporarily comatose Cap, who was stunned to learn of Sharon’s survival. After defeating both Kubekult and the Skull, Sharon, still scarred by her experiences, attempted to keep her former lover at a distance, but when Cap was exiled from the U.S. due to machinations by Samuel Saxon, AKA Machinesmith, Sharon followed, ultimately preventing Machinesmith from crashing S.H.I.E.L.D.’s current Helicarrier. Sharon looks a bit haggard in the super close-up hi-res photos, but once she’s standing a few inches away from you, the sculpt actually look very good to me overall. I think her skin-tone is probably a shade too dark (my wife asked if it was supposed to be a Latino woman), but I think this is still a perfectly passable head. And let's bear in mind, we first meet Sharon in Captain America: The Winter in deep cover as Steve's neighbor. In short, Sharon is a spy, and whether she's herself or a Skrull you can never take her motivations at face value. Sharon is revealed as the Power Broker in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode six - a secret she successfully keeps by killing Batroc and Karli Morganthau in the show's final battle scene.Neither Cap nor any of Sharon’s other Super Hero allies suspected that her death was a ruse by S.H.I.E.L.D., which, having faked her incineration, sent her on a top-secret mission, its details unrevealed to this day. Following the mission’s completion, Sharon failed to rendezvous with S.H.I.E.L.D. at her predetermined extraction point, and her fellow agents, including Fury Sr., believed her killed in the line of duty, but this too was a misapprehension, for Sharon remained alive, though imprisoned. Abandoned in enemy territory, Sharon spent months being held under inhumane conditions in the dictatorship of Tap-Kwai. Finally escaping and incorrectly believing S.H.I.E.L.D. had simply abandoned her, she spent the next few years as a mercenary, her assignments often forcing her into violent or degrading activity. Operating outside the law, she cooperated with various criminal figures, including Frank Castle, AKA the Punisher’s right-hand man Microchip and the misanthropic robot Ultron. These years weighed heavily upon Sharon, robbing her of the idealism that had drawn her to S.H.I.E.L.D. and later to Cap, and she grew hardened and embittered. And for almost 20 years, she was gone from Steve's life – until 1995's Captain America #444 from Mark Waid and Ron Garney, which revealed that Sharon's death had been faked to send her even deeper undercover, with the truth now revealed to Steve so he could mount a rescue attempt to extract her from behind enemy lines. Now reunited, Sharon and Steve's relationship only had to survive Steve getting aged up to an elderly man after losing his Super Soldier Serum, Red Skull restoring Steve while secretly turning him into an agent of Hydra in the story Secret Empire, Hydra Steve and Sharon trying to kill each other, and finally Steve returning to normal, with the pair finally able to resume their romance.
