Original Cover: Not feeling the love. To me it just looks like a Kristen Stewart lying in a moss field. I found this highly intriguing throughout, not least because Hannah herself had great depth of character, her thought processes and actions bringing into sharp focus the emotional turmoil that loss can bring – especially loss where there is no closure, no clue as to what went wrong. Even though we have an insular view of events, told as it is solely by the one person, the rest of the “cast” come alive through her eyes – her father, Danny’s parents and Sister, her friends – and she manages to make you feel her frustration as it becomes clear that secrets are being kept. they love to dance so much that they naturally wear out their shoes often and have great need for shoes." This book was pretty compelling, keeping me hooked with every twist that was thrown at us (even if I had managed to figure them out). I truly think that is a sign of good writing, to be able to keep a reader captivated even after they have figured out the plot direction of your novel. However it did feel quite flat, as if I was observing the plot from the outside, rather than truly being immersed in the story. By the time I got to the end of the novel I was just okay, not totally captivated but not bored either. Hence my 3 star rating.

Edited: I did in fact read the next one, and the next one and the next one. And this series is my FAVOURITE series of all time. Loved every word of all of them. And they only get better as th I would have liked to read his POV, to read his justifications on why he left behind the little sister who worshiped him and the best friend who was clueless about her paternity. As if I wasn't excited enough for her upcoming release, The Dark, now I am bussin at the seams to get my grubby lil mitts on it. As a series of threatening incidents wreaks chaos in Maria’s life, Maria and Colin will be tested in increasingly terrifying ways. Will demons from their past destroy the tenuous relationship they’ve begun to build, or will their love protect them, even in the darkest hour?

A chance encounter on a rain-swept road will alter the course of both Colin and Maria's lives, challenging deeply held assumptions about each other and ultimately, themselves. As love unexpectedly takes hold between them, they dare to envision what a future together could possibly look like . . . until menacing reminders of events in Maria's past begin to surface. What can you say about Nicholas Sparks that has not been said? One of the top authors of this genre- mastering romantic suspense. Each of his books dive deep into human emotions and dynamics, with layers of tragedy and loss, with well-developed everyday characters, seeking second chances when unfortunate elements continue to pull them down. In the end, they come out stronger. So just See Me, leaving this review up to here, because I don’t want to tell more of what is going on in the story (I pretty much told you the most though!) or how I feel about it (As I said, it’s a present and still precious to me). But when you see the other person is decent and, dare I say, attractive (at least to you), it seems to me that wasting your time being angsty and miserable instead of making the most of it is just stupid. See Me is a book set in Ireland and it involves all kinds of mystical creatures like Fae and Leprachauns... yes, you heard that right Leprachauns. Before reading this book I probably would have said Leprachauns... well I don't think that's my kind of book... but it is. Oh. My. God. It is. I absolutely adored this book. It was fanatstic and I couldn't put the book down from start to finish.

A true special, magical broodmare! See, my giggles were perfectly justified, even though my fellow travelers in the Metro might have thought otherwise. What a powerful name! Khalistah! Not to be confused with her friend, Melindalah. “I daresay not, Melindalah,” Khalistah answered.Or her other friend, Mirandalah. “Is this the one who fancies you to pieces, Princess?” But then after the truth revealed, well, I admitted it was a good twist, although at some point of the story, I already guessed it.
