This is what he says To make Woody's relationship with Buzz all the more difficult at the beginning, all the other toys seem to be very impressed with the spaceman. They don't even seem to mind that he doesn't know he's a toy. But when Buzz suggests he really can fly, it's too much for Woody. Not wanting his friends to waste away, however, Woody sneakily gets Andy to donate the toys to Bonnie, where they'll be loved and played with again. Andy comes to accept that he has outgrown his toys, and happily gives them away. When it comes time for Woody, however, he shows especial reluctance. Despite this, he eventually finds peace in the separation, and parts ways with his favorite toy. Pulling him out, Woody walks with/drags Forky with him, impressing on Forky the importance of being there for "Andy", before correcting himself to "Bonnie". Catching his words, Forky asks who "Andy" is, and the two of them get into an agreeable conversation about Woody's time with Andy. Asking Forky why he's obsessed with trash, and learning that Forky is reassured by it, Woody uses that to show Forky that Forky provides that same reassurance to Bonnie. Although not quite the intended outcome, as Forky assumes he's "Bonnie's trash", Forky does become excited to return to Bonnie at last, and the two toys make their way to the nearest trailer park to meet up with the RV.
