For its interactive aspects, Edifier has gone with a more simplified physical button on both earpieces. These sleek metallic earbuds deliver high clarity and offer plenty of customization both for the sound and the controls. The Soundcore extends highs further, making it more uplifting for dance and techno genres, if a little harsher. EarFun's Air S buds come with Qualcomm aptX audio, lightweight build quality, and wireless charging. The Edifier looks a lot like the Beats Studio Buds; they’ve got the same sculpted boot appearance that helps them slip into the ear easily, and they also make use of physical controls, which is again helpful in operating the earbuds.

The Edifier W240TN earbuds use SBC audio coding technology that produces high-quality sound with deep bass and clear treble. Though noise was noticeably muted with the ANC on, even droning sounds like the AC still got through. I think there are some good details here that deliver some surprising bite, especially with crunchy distorted guitars, and of course crisper vocals.

With ANC or ambient sound turned on, I was consistently able to get seven hours of listening in on the W240TNs. Even with access to better codecs, the single earbud drivers of the Outlier Pros don't sound as good as the coaxial drivers in the W240TNs. They feature Φ6mm Dynamic+Φ10mm Dynamic drivers that deliver a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz, making them perfect for listening to music or watching movies.
