Description

Titans Return Ultra Magnus is a redeco/retool of Titans Return Titan Master Fangry with a new Titan Master head, and he is a solo Titan Master included with Arcee, a redeco/retool of Blurr. The Titan Master in robot mode is themed after the original toy's inner robot figure, while his head mode face is based on the armored Magnus head. The set debuted at HasCon 2017 before a later release at New York Comic Con 2017 and a standard release [4] at Toys"R"Us. Like Rodimus Prime, Thunderwing, and Scorponok, Ultra Magnus also features a die-cast Titan Master torso and head mode face. Accessories: "W-50 Dual-Mech Energon Strikeshield," "W-M3 RF Ion Blaster" (combines to form "Sentrystrike Ultra-Blaster") The ankle pivot is limited by the sculpting of the feet, so you won't be able to get any super deep ankle poses which is a shame This character article is a stub and is missing information on their fictional appearances. You can help Transformers Wiki by expanding it. Don't Oversleep and Forget Things!! Go! Go! issue 15 Sprout Up

The second is a new 6" inch Titanium transforming mold which resembles his Generation 1 form. Only features vehicle and super-robot modes, with no separate smaller robot mode, as the trailer does not disconnect from the cab. Ultra Magnus did not appear in Marvel Comics' American Transformers comic book series outside of a comic book adaptation of a third-season episode of the animated Transformers series. However, the series' sister title in the U.K. did feature in the character extensively in its own original stories (particularly issues in and around the 100 mark); the American stories made little use of the new cast introduced in The Transformers: The Movie, and U.K. writer Simon Furman pounced on the opportunity to use them in his own ways. Whereas all the other movie characters who appeared in the stories — such as Galvatron, Hot Rod and Kup — appeared via the use of time travel, it was Ultra Magnus's present-day self who played a key role in many of the important UK storylines. As per the original intent of his character and toy, Magnus was presented as the arch-foe of Galvatron. In a completely different possible scenario, Hot Rod and Kup returned to the Autobot headquarters to report to Ultra Magnus immediately after they saw the mysterious spacecraft land. Ultra Magnus agreed that the situation necessitated further investigation, and sent out Springer, Sunstreaker, Prowl and Jazz to accompany Hot Rod and Kup. An eHobby exclusive (Japan) and TF China Carnival (China) exclusive white redeco of the Alternity Convoy figure.

I'd expect UM's trailer to be longer than Legacy Motormaster's, and take up more space in the box, but weigh much less since MM's trailer is a nearly solid chunk of folded up Menasor. The 25th-anniversary gum toy is not a reissue of the original 1985 toy; instead, it appears to be based on the Titanium design. It was speculated by some fans for several years that, in the animated continuity, Ultra Magnus may have been created from Orion Pax's friend Dion, the same way and at the same time Prime and Elita One were rebuilt by Alpha Trion, though official word by Hasbro later stated otherwise. For further elaboration, see Who is Dion?.With a yellow cab and an entirely translucent yellow trailer, Shining Magnus is intended to recall the moment in the The Transformers: The Movie, just before Optimus Prime dies, when the Matrix is passed to Ultra Magnus and he is bathed in its light. Of course, the Matrix's light was, er, blue, so it's a weird fit. The Marvel Comics adaptation of the film did colour the light yellow, but it seems rather unlikely that's where Takara were taking their inspiration from. With the Decepticons momentarily abated due to a temporary truce, Magnus joined Prime as he surveyed the ruined Light Gardens that had once flanked Crystal City, and later joined the Autobot leader as he and his followers set out for nearby Darkmount. However, while travelling, they came under assault from a swarm of rust worms and Jhiaxus, who'd taken command of Strika's unit and knowingly violated the truce as part of a bid to eliminate the Autobots. Radical Time Magnus and the other Autobots fought the worms for as long as they could, and as they began to falter, Termagax saved them by reprogramming the Insecticlone swarm to consume the worms instead, and in doing so eliminated two threats to Cybertron in one stroke. End of Time Ultra Magnus appeared in the 1986 story and coloring book The Lost Treasure of Cybertron by Marvel Books.

This mold was further retooled as Legends Super Ginrai, which was redecoed into Siege On Cybertron Magnus Prime. When the galaxy became infected by the Hate Plague, Ultra Magnus was one of the first victims, and his calm, restrained soldier attitude was stripped away, leaving behind a raving, battle-hungry maniac who had a particular interest in destroying Rodimus Prime. After the plague was cured by the resurrected Optimus Prime, Magnus subsequently led the defense of Cybertron during the battle for the power of the Plasma Energy Chamber in 2007. He's definitely shorter than most of the other Commanders, but for me at least he has 100% earned that Commander price point: Not only is the quality of the plastic just fantastic, but there is a lot of it. Seriously, he might be short but when weighing them in hand Magnus feels about as heavy as Armada Optimus and Jetfire! He is super dense, with no hollow bits anywhere on him. Though undocumented in the instructions, Ultra Magnus' trailer can hitch with 1 or 2 Legends Class and/or Deluxe Class cars with smaller mass, with the lower leg panels serving as a makeshift ramp.

May 16, 2023's Hasbro Pulse Transformers Fanstream on YouTube, with Evan Brooks, Ben MacCrae, and Sixo. Despite his incredible fighting skills, courage, and unmatched talent for improvisation on the battlefield, Ultra Magnus is not portrayed as a natural leader, and displays discomfort if the Autobot Matrix of Leadership should ever find itself placed upon him. Fortress Maximus's instructions depict him as part of the Cybertron City combination. Meanwhile, the "Siege on Cybertron" instructions show him as a part of the Nemesis Command combination, albeit mislabeled as Autobot Blaster. IDW Delta Magnus's body appears to incorporate elements of both Ultra Magnus's and Orion Pax's designs, including Magnus's antennae and huge shoulders and Pax's shoulder-tires and droplet-shaped forehead vent. Ultra Magnus is Optimus Prime's brother in the Dreamwave Generation One continuity. Additionally, Optimus Prime also was described as treating Ultra Magnus as his "kid brother" in TV Magazine's issue #4 of Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers manga.

Part of the first wave of TakaraTomy's Premium Finish subline, Optimus Prime is a redeco of the Siege Voyager Class toy, with the same weapons and C.O.M.B.A.T. System functionality.A white redeco of Masterpiece Optimus Prime that comes with a Megatron in gun mode, Energon axe, and the Matrix of Leadership. Entertainment News International (ENI) is the #1 popular culture network for adult fans all around the world. Additionally, TakaraTomy reissued Masterpiece Ultra Magnus in 2008 sporting their logo in the top right-hand corner of the box to replace the Takara logo in the bottom right featured on the original release in 2005. This reissue has been met with some quality control issues much like that of Convoy Perfect Edition, such as bad paint applications and chipping, misaligned doors, and even mis-assembled headlights which have been installed upside down. The Transformers: Classics story printed by Fun Publications is set in a continuation of the Marvel Comics Transformers series, ignoring the Marvel U.K. and Generation 2 comics. Since Ultra Magnus only appeared in the U.K. comics (baring the movie adaption), the Ultra Magnus appearing in these stories is a new character.
