We are now looking to remobilise our voluntary services across the organisation and are seeking volunteers to help support our service across Grampian. FONTHILL MATERNITY HOME, 60 Fonthill Road, ABERDEENA domestic house was taken over by Aberdeen Corporation in 1945 and opened as a maternity unit in 1946. Latterly it acted as an annexe to the Aberdeen Maternity Home. Still marked as a maternity home on maps of the 1970s, and was still operating in 1990. The building was still extant in 2019, but is no longer in hospital use.
