In a semester-long study of college students, good students could better predict their performance on future exams given feedback about their scores and relative percentile. Featuring a hitman with heart - not to mention a bike, a man bun, and a baby he found on the job - The Lemon Man is wildly entertaining.

The Lemon Man is a hired gun, a paid assassin, a professional killer who biked around Dublin in his slippers and takes people out. A fine crime novel: at one moment offbeat, with a darkly funny Irish lilt, and the next moment hard and uncompromising. Here's the main takeaway: this is a good, quirky, fast read that'll leave you with putting Bruton on your radar like he is on mine. A Deadly Pleasures Magazine Top 10 Paperback of 2022: "If you are a fan of quirky characters, you will love THE LEMON MAN.
