In response to the climate crisis, countries in the region recognise the need to diversify away from reliance on oil, and to adopt renewable energy. There is also a strong desire to invest in training and education. Amy explained: ‘Over the past two years, I worked on a group project at the University of Bristol to develop a STEM competition where participants compete to produce as much energy as possible using renewables. Working with EcoStyle, we developed a working prototype that allowed their solar panel and wind turbine to store energy, which could be used to power a small electric vehicle.’EcoStyle has been taking part in Bike Month 2021, a celebration of biking taking place throughout June.
