About this deal

There are three reasons for a thermostat, one frost protection, two anti cycling, three set room temperature. Years ago we used the wall thermostat to set room temperature, but then the condensate boiler arrived, this type of boiler needs the return water cool, or it will not work efficiently. So two ways to control is either the modulating wall thermostat connected to boiler ebus, or the TRV head on the radiator. lt;li>Versions with switches for positive-off selection, or summer/ winter (heat/cool) changeover operation
I currently have a Baxi Duo-Tec Combi Boiler with an intergrated timer and a wired Honeywell T6360B1028 thermostat.

Home thermostats are meant for the control of centrally installed climate systems, but they can vary greatly in the number of features and options that they have. While many older ones had few features beyond simple temperature controls, many of the more recent models feature a huge list of options in addition to their standard functions. However, not all thermostats carry such a huge list of options, as many simple devices still exist that have few extras outside of the ability to set the desired temperature. Whether you get a simple thermostat or one loaded with features will depend entirely on your own desires for a home thermostat. Before shopping for one, though, you should be aware of which options exist and to know what to look for. Control Interface If you wanted one, you would either have to fit the receiver where your old 'stat is mounted and then position the actual Prog Stat somewhere else, or you'd have to fit the receiver wherever your boiler or wiring centre is fitted and then disconnect the wires going to you old 'stat before then mounted your new one there. The Honeywell T6360 thermostat is a temperature control device used in residential and commercial settings. It allows users to easily adjust and maintain desired room temperatures. The thermostat features a simple and intuitive interface, making it user-friendly and easy to operate. In some climates, simply having a way to control your home's heating is ideal. In some areas in the UK, for example, air conditioners are rarely needed even in the middle of the summer, so having a fully automated home air conditioning system isn't a necessity. However, during the winter, it's always a good idea to have some kind of control over your heating, and the Honeywell DT90E1012 Digital Room Thermostat is a great product for this purpose. If you see wires connected to terminals labeled G1 G2 G3, you need a thermostat capable of controlling multiple fan speeds; none of our retail thermostats are compatible with this system type. G is compatible, but not G1, G2, or G3.Many people don't have the need of a high tech fancy home thermostat. For homes with simple HVAC systems installed, a simple thermostat will do, and preferably one that is both accurate and highly reliable. For such people, the Honeywell T6360B1028 Room Thermostat is a perfect fit. This simple home thermostat does not rely on having a fancy touchscreen display to do the job, which can sometimes add unnecessary complexity to a device. Instead, you can simply set the desired temperature with the turn of a dial, and the thermostat will utilise its built-in Dual Diaphram sensing element to ensure that your room is as close to the desired temperature as possible. lt;li>Improved easy-to-wire terminals with built-in conductor clamps to ensure wiring is retained securely
Martin Lewis: What the Autumn Statement means for you – including wages, benefits, pensions, ISAs, housing, national insurance and more Next, let’s talk about the C or common wire. If you have a Trane model thermostat and a wire labeled X or B, refer to your thermostat manual. In some cases, one of those wires is your common. If you have a C wire, place it into the C terminal on your wall plate. C wire adapters are available here.

People love devices with advanced technology, and thermostats are typically no exception to this rule. Having a thermostat that takes advantage of many of the latest technological features is a must for many, and anything less simply won't do. This includes having access to features such as wireless connectivity and remote programming, as these features help make a home's climate control much more convenient, meaning one less thing to worry about throughout the day. There is no standard for which color wire controls each function. When wiring, each wire should be identified by what terminal(s) it connects to — never by color. If you don’t know to which terminal each wire connects, it may be necessary to go to the HVAC system and look at the designations on the control board. Consult your owners/install guide for wiring examples and systems compatible with your thermostat*.The Honeywell T6360 Room Thermostat can be used to directly switch a circulating pump or boiler, or to operate spring return and motor open/motor close zone valves. The Honeywell T6360 Room Stat can switch electrical heating loads up to 10A, and the it can also be used for cooling applications. It's also a good idea to take advantage of night conditions. For example, during the summer, the outside climate is usually at its nicest at night, where it is not so hot. Consider programming your thermostat to either use a minimum of cooling or turn off completely while you are sleeping. Take advantage of the ability to open windows if you can if it leaves your home still feeling a little stuffy. After all, clean, fresh air is free, and it doesn't cost any money to maintain it if you can get it through an open window. Stay Warm During the Winter To protect your equipment, turn off the power at the breaker box or switch that controls your heating and cooling. To confirm your system is off, change the temperature on your existing thermostat, so the system starts heating or cooling. If you don’t hear or feel the system turn on within 5 minutes, the power is off. You can skip this step if you have a digital thermostat with a blank display.

If your O or B terminal shares a label with another wire — typically W —identify whether you have a heat pump system or not. A heat pump runs your compressor for both heating and cooling. If you don’t know your system type, place this wire in the W terminal. If you have a heat pump system, put it in the O/B terminal.
