In Sonic Jump (2012), Silver and co. discovered that Eggman had begun kidnapping Animals again and taking them high into the sky, prompting the heroes to set out to stop Dr. Eggman's operations. Whenever they managed to corner Eggman in a Zone and defeat him however, the doctor would retreat to another Zone, although not before capturing more Animals. After Eggman's defeat in Mechanical Zone however, the doctor would crash down to earth, ending his plans, thus allowing Silver to reunite with all the Animals. Some time after, Silver saw Dr. Eggman and Dodon Pa talk with each other about an engine, leading him to alert the other racers that Dodon Pa and Eggman were working together. Although the heroes wanted to stop them, they knew nothing about what the pair was up to; all they could do for now was keep racing. Not long after, Silver got an unexplainable feeling that something bad was going to happen. This distracted him between the races, especially when Sonic tried to trash talk with him and when Blaze tried to praise him. His dialogue with Sonic (in the Japanese version) is especially interesting, as Sonic recites a quote that Silver said in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) much to his confusion, indicating that Sonic does recall some of that adventure while Silver does not. [20] [21] This dialogue was changed in the English version. A hedgehog from a devastated future. He is always positive and has a strong sense of justice. His powerful psychokinesis can move big objects as well as allow him to levitate. In Sonic Unleashed, though Silver doesn't appear in the game, he is referenced in the day stage of Empire City under the name of "Silver Beach", along with other places named after characters like "Blaze Road". Silver also appears on the game's preset leaderboards, placing seventh in each Zone. When playing a Zone, a destructible monitor containing Silver's portrait will appear if his score has been passed. In the Wii version and Nintendo DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Silver appears as a playable character, being one of the four new characters to join the main roster alongside Bowser Jr., Donkey Kong and Metal Sonic. Silver also has the special skill Levitate, which he can use in certain events to gain speed. In the Wii version and Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Silver appears as one of the playable characters. In the Wii version, Silver also has the special skill, the Levitate, which he can use in certain events to gain speed. Soon after, the heroes learned from Big that Eggman had kidnapped Dodon Pa and brought him to the Final Fortress. Wanting to rescue Dodon Pa, Silver and co. went to the Final Fortress. There, Eggman had them compete in a number of races with Team Eggman and his army of Eggpawns in exchange for Dodon Pa, not knowing Eggman was using them to gather the Ultimate Team Energy needed to finish the Ultimate Energy Engine. Once the engine was complete, Eggman stole it from Dodon Pa and incorporated it into his Death Egg. Silver and his crew subsequently faced the Death Egg, and beat it in a race. However, the Death Egg soon after went crazy and drove into the Final Fortress' core. As the Final Fortress crashed, Silver and his companions were forced to abandon their cars and evacuate the airship while Team Sonic saved Dodon Pa. Down on the ground, Silver was reunited with Team Sonic when they arrived with Dodon Pa. Just as the Grand Prix seemed over since the cars had been destroyed when the Final Fortress crashed, Dodon Pa decided to give everyone new cars, thus allowing Silver and his friends to race once more.

In the Nintendo Switch version of the game, Silver plays a role in the story mode. In this mode, Silver was doing some sightseeing at Tokyo Tower when he met Tails and Luigi, who asked him about passes to other venues. Silver told them that he had dropped some passes for the Tokyo Aquatics Centre and the Aomi Urban Sports Park while he was climbing the tower. After Tails found the passes, Silver let them keep them. He then joined the pair on their mission to find the Tokyo '64 game system that Sonic, Mario and Toad had been caught inside of with Dr. Eggman and Bowser after hearing of how serious the situation was. Finding the Tokyo '64 in the hands of Bowser Jr., who was being guarded by Wendy, Silver challenged Wendy to an event and won. However, Bowser Jr. got away with the Tokyo '64 while the heroes were distracted.
