The Twins, also known as the Hutt Twins, [2] referred to a Hutt brother and sister who were crime lords during the New Republic Era. They were cousins of Tatooine crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure, and when Boba Fett usurped the throne of Tatooine from Bib Fortuna as the new Daimyo, the Twins traveled to Mos Espa and confronted Lord Fett, laying claim to Jabba's territory. They were carried on a litter through the streets of Mos Espa, and employed many servants, a drummer, as well as the gladiator and bounty hunter Krrsantan. [1] And freedom-loving parents like you might question whether your kids could be interested in—and understand!—these real-world concepts. I’m including this set of identical twins partly because they are iconic, and partly because I gave a critically acclaimed performance as Tweedledum in my primary school’s production of Alice Through the Looking Glass, so I feel a powerful connection to the character. Perhaps surprisingly given how well-known they are, Tweedledum and Tweedledee only feature in a single chapter of Through the Looking Glass. They recite a poem to Alice, taunt her with some weird philosophical banter, and then run away from a massive crow. The Twins is a must-read for all psychological thriller fans' Sarah Clarke, author of A Mother Never Lies

Mam'zelle! What on earth is a Mam'zelle? If you're French or maybe English, you probably know but the avid readers of Enid Blyton books in a host of countries right round the world will also find out and even relate to this extraordinary character. And even if you homeschool, you are always on the hunt for a new curriculum to make sure your children are being taught good principles and true ideas. You care about the principles of freedom, and with the Tuttle Twins, you now have a way to teach these values to your children . The Tuttle Twins books challenges children to learn “adult” ideas—and they love it! We explain these ideas simply, and with helpful illustrations… and we’ve been amazed at how well kids rise to this challenge. Yours will, too. a b Misstear, Rachael (31 October 2011). "Powerful Play about Silent Twins Will Get You Talking". Western Mail. Cardiff, Wales. Archived from the original on 24 April 2019.The pair were the subject of the 1986 television drama The Silent Twins, broadcast on BBC2 as part of its Screen Two series, [21] and an Inside Story documentary Silent Twin – Without My Shadow, which aired on BBC1 in September 1994. [22] A play based on Wallace's book, titled Speechless, debuted in London in 2011. [13]

The twins either died from drugs, had seizures due to withdrawal, or entered into some unknowable suicide pact. Fellow doctors at the time proposed a kind of Columbo killer mystery method that involved injecting poisons into the body in places where you would never find it, like a hemorrhoid. "I will tell you something: any smart physician could dispose of himself by a mechanism which could never be discovered by anyone, including his insurance companies," one of the doctors cryptically explained. "I have no evidence, but I know the way I’d do it if I were going to... I can tell you this: you’re not gonna find out." In 1960, Aubrey went to stay with a relative in Coventry and soon qualified as a staff technician. Gloria followed, with Greta and David, several months later. [5] The twins were born on 11 April 1963, at a military hospital in Aden, Yemen, where their father had been deployed. The family soon relocated, first to England, and, in 1974, to Haverfordwest, Wales. [3] The twin sisters were inseparable and their language, a sped-up Bajan Creole, made it difficult for people to understand them.

Isabel, however, who is the less forthright sister, soon caves in and agrees to do chores for Belinda Towers, the sports captain. Her twin is disgusted to find that she has done this and refuses to help. Isabel therefore concocts a plan in which she will pretend to be Pat and do Pat's share of the chores as well. Overall, this first of this series shows that the O'Sullivan spirit is present and previously undiscovered qualities could emerge which might catapult the twins into higher stratospheres — but that's another tale to be told.
