For properties in a complete set you own, collect the increased rent for each property without a hotel in that set. If you owe money to the Bank or another player and don’t have enough money to pay them, you need to try and make enough cash to pay your debt. Mortgaging When you land on a property that is owned by somebody else, you may have to pay the rent to that owner.

When you land on a property that is owned by another player, you will owe them rent. If they don’t tell you that you owe rent before the next player rolls the dice though, you don’t have to pay. Also, you can mortgage your property to raise money of your own. When your property is mortgaged, you CANNOT collect rent on that property. You can unmortgage that property by paying the unmortgage cost (always higher than the mortgage sale) so that you can collect rent.

Odds of Winnings and Prizes

If all players do not want to bid at all and an auction comes to an end, that property remains unowned in the Bank. Since a vault icon on a special die does not have a number, you do not roll doubles and you do not get another turn. When you land on this space you will immediately move your pawn to the Jail space. You will not collect money for passing GO. Your current turn ends immediately. You may still collect rent, bid on auctions, and trade while you are in jail. After the game ends (regular or alternate), all players will count their cash and properties they own.
