Description

Speaking of Chaos their boarding patrol only shows 5 marines in the picture but the text the Warhammer community site says 10? I also felt that in a whole force of high-speed operator-ass types, a sprinkle of classic Astarte style is still warranted.

Designed for the heart-pounding clashes of Warhammer 40,000's Arks of Omen series, this collection presents a cost-effective and versatile assembly of units, ready to dominate in the demanding realm of boarding actions. The main Assault Intercessors set (as opposed to the quick-to-build ones I did earlier) give all the options needed for the Sergeant, so he goes into battle with a Plasma Pistol and Thunder Hammer, giving the squad some needed punch when they leap out of the Impulsor. Hellblasters aren’t a heavy support option, they’re up-armoured Intercessors and a lifetime supply of combi-plasma parts.

That will give you a bit of wiggle room for wargear (although not by much — we’re talking 50 points). He’s joined by a bodyguard of three Deathshroud Terminators, as well as 10 versatile Plague Marines – three of which are taken from the much-sought-after Plague Marine Reinforcements set.

Created by the Emperor himself from the genetic material of his demigod Primarch sons, the Adeptus Astartes are the ultimate soldiers for a cruel and terrible age – unrivalled in storming the claustrophic corridors of a space hulk, or seizing control of hostile ships in frenetic boarding actions. New and upcoming Boarding Patrol boxes give you a diverse selection of models to form effective and characterful armies. Recently, GW released the Boarding Patrol box set for Space Marines, and I immediately saw it had some useful additions for my growing Dark Angels which would enable me to fill out a couple more squads for the Third Company. If you need points shave off 10 cultists and add wargear or upgrade the Sorcerer to Terminator Armour. Chaos Space Marines are right at home on the claustrophobic corridors of a space hulk, and we’re not even convinced the Thousand Sons register much of the weirdness going on given the forces they tamper with. But what I’m also saying is, I can’t just make more Phobos-armoured legs and torsos appear out of nowhere.
