This book could be good used when the teacher is introducing stars and the skies into the classroom. The lesson plan set has over 200 pages of lesson plans, detailed activities, center ideas, book recommendations, and related printables. My Review: This is such a cute story and not many people know that there is more than one verse to this song.

I have never heard of or seen this rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and I absolutely loved it. The little star explains her job in the night sky and shows her all the wonderful things of this world. In this song book, it is Christmas time and the children sing this song to show how the light of the star has guided Santa and his elves into the home of children’s houses. At first glance this book could easily be mistaken as a song, however it is the complete original poem of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" by Jane Taylor. The illustrations are gorgeous but I'm still on the fence as to whether or not my preschoolers will get it.
