Being a mood reader it could have just meant that my mood changed and it had nothing to do with the author or the story. I absolutely love Bridget as a character. She is smart, kind, stubborn, and doesn’t take herself all that seriously but can rise to any challenge and meet it head on. Rhys took some time to grow on me but once Bridget started to break through his walls I did eventually grow to like him. Alice is happy to meander to Miss. Yao’s teashop or to visit the children playing in the Square. She’s also interested in learning more about the young lawyer she met there, but just because she’s curious, of course, not because he was sweet and charming. or for the results obtained from the use of this information.
