Description

I really enjoyed this, and it’s something I’ll definitely save to re-sample later on. I think it is close enough to some other fragrances that I love and already own, and while I loved it on (kept smelling myself more often than strictly necessary for review!), the price point is having me bide my time and think through it more carefully. Available Sizes Projection: 10/10. It's very wide, you're perceived. Even the end still projects strongly what I think is great. The increased concentration enhances this spectacle and seems at the same time rounder and more accomplished. Nevertheless, the differences are difficult to identify even for experienced noses. Usually, a higher perfume oil concentration means an increased performance of the fragrance (particularly longer-lasting scent), but the impact of oil concentration is much more complex and varies depending on each formula. Amouage Interlude Man Perfume Eau de Parfum sets up with a spicy, more aromatic opening with minty oregano that is cooler, dusty, and almost dry, before leather and smoky incense emerge. The fragrance became increasingly resinous and balsamic over time with spiced, aromatic woods, deep, golden amber, and lots of incense. It is described simply as a “spicy and woody fragrance” with the following notes:

On the contrary, the fragrance is almost sweet and I detect hints of ripe fruit like apples reduced to a jammy, pureed, cooked and made to reduce for hours on a wood fire. The balsamic tones amplified and added more resinous sweetness along with sweet, smoky incense that started to hide the leather after 15 minutes of development. Amongst the leather, there was still a sense of drier woods. An hour in, Interlude Man was deeply resinous, full of aromatic woods, and smoky incense. The beginning symbolizes for me a roaring mighty being that fends off all evil within the scent cloud that protects you in the spiritual. But also this phase shows itself in the chaos of today. Hence the protection in chaos.

Wish List

I wanted to show you how complex and spiritual a production can be from beginning to end, even if it is mass produced. Make your own picture in Oman where you can see Amouage in person:-) The two main notes frankincense and Oppoponax (incense resin) should purify the spirit and calm the soul according to descriptions. Smoky, resinous, sweet, aromatic: this masterpiece takes on different nuances every time you wear it. And with all the corners and edges and spines, these rough-and-ready fellows are often closer to me than the lovely flower basket! Incense should also have a relaxing effect, reduce nervousness and increase mental strength and much more.

Oud must not be missing from this fragrance development: it has to be. A certain animalistic "nuisance" belongs to "Interlude Man"! The 2 phase conveys profundity and to pay attention to one's feelings. This transmission is very important for your progress. (Feeling comes, feeling is felt, is accepted, is consciously perceived as learning and it can go again.)But now an intermezzo is not only an interlude; it can also be a connection between two poles, between two times. Of course you have to keep in mind: if you do not like intensive resin scents, you are completely wrong here. The scent is loud, intense and demanding. For lovers of such fragrances this is a single pleasure, for others too much. In fact the scent is not perceived by the environment as an intensive "smoke bomb" but as a fragrant scent with various associations ranging from Christmas market to anywhere else. Rightly so! Because frankincense is a fragrance of Amouage's Interlude Man But even with an enthusiastic incense monster: "Interlude Man" will live up to its name and remain an intermezzo! I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed. Sorry if I'm out of line there. I have the "Vintage" Interlude and I love the original vintage fragrances from Amouage, before everything was adulterated and the fragrances have disappointed me more and more.

It opened with bright, zesty bergamot and earthy, minty oregano with soft wafts of amber and incense that created an opulent, spicy and aromatic beginning. Rich, golden amber, frankincense, and resinous opoponax joined swiftly while the bergamot receded and the oregano gave a sense of coolness to the scent. There was an impression of dustiness, dry and a little stale, that later morphed into dry leather and smoke. It was aromatic, spiced, and woody with leathery undertones. It lasted for eight hours until it was a skin-scent and about 12 hours before it was quite difficult to detect on my skin. The sillage was moderate for the first hour, while the projection was moderate for two hours before both were closer to the body/skin. Personal ThoughtsFrom their, the development was more linear than transformative, which led to a drydown that was softly spiced, creamy woods with smoky incense, heavy resins, and patchouli. Application Compared to the edp version, it is extremely more amalgamated and rounded: the blast of oregano here is not as pronounced, but it is perceived at times and is not intrusive.

When I smelled that one for the first time, I got annoyed by the oreganoand after almost 1 to 2 hours it became nicer and a very addictive smoky scent. However, it is as niche, as niche is concerned and it takes time for an untrained "nose" to like it, if ever. There at last, we manufacture most of our perfumes, building a community that is passionate and deeply loyal to Amouage, thus making the collaboration between the House and the employees an ever fruitful one. A fragrance is usually a mix of a concentrate (containing fragrant oils) and an alcoholic base. Some fragrances can also contain a bit of water and additives like liquid UV filters, stabilizers, or colourants. Therefore, fragrances with a higher fragrance concentration contain more perfume oils and less alcohol, and vice-versa.This fragrance is extremely well suited to today's conditions, which are accompanied by many tensions. Now is the time to listen to his leadership/feelings, to learn trust, and to appreciate and love the world. Extremely important, especially at this time when one is led by the ego, exposed to external influences in a negative sense etc.... Take dried oregano, almost with a texture of leaves in the fall, crinkly, crunchy. That's the type of 'green' you get in the open, it's not overpowering, it's not a refreshing green like Green Irish Tweed or any other freshie. This is a dry, 'crunchy' oregano green. It's perfectly blended with spice. That sharp burning tire opening I get with regular Interlude Man is nonexistent here. Massive projection for the first 2 hours.
