To the reviewer who stated that this smells like an old man sitting somewhere doing something old men do, there is real legitimacy to this claim. Let me start by saying, this is not for everyone - i.e. this is not a blind buy -. Secondly, in accordance with my previous point, this is not a mass appeal fragrance. If you like boozy, leather, vanilla, and incents, then this will likely work for you - more of an oriental/middle eastern fragrance which makes sense when you consider the primary Bently consumer -. Anyway, it is a mature fragrance. I would not recommend this for anyone under the ages of 40 to 45; if for no other reason, your peers are unlikely to enjoy/appreciate it.

This scent has moderate longevity for an EDP, lasting 5+ hours. It projects well, and you can make your presence felt around a 3-4ft radius. At the base, Haitian vetiver rises prominently while ambergris and patchouli help finish the fragrance in an earthy note. The dry down is earthy, woody, and smokey thanks to the vetiver, with powdery and fresh lavender and violet. Upon dry-down, subtle hints of vanilla/almond aromas from tonka bean never dominate. Settles into a woody, classy fragrance with violet leaf, sweet pineapple, zest and tea hints.

For an EDT, the fragrance stays a good 4+ hours and projects well too. The vetiver and powdery violet work incredibly well together.

Resinous benzoin helps make the smooth transition to the base where Haitian vetiver, along with patchouli and cedar, creates a strong finish. The dry down is clean, spicy, with woody vetiver trailing nicely. The performance of this fragrance is moderate, so over spraying is recommended. Longevity is 4+ hours with decent sillage & projection.
