This book was really easy but enjoyable to read. I really like how this is a graphic novel version of the actual book. The pictures were really good a... Mary Anne just loves her little kitten, Tigger. So when he disappears one afternoon, Mary Anne is a little concerned. The next morning Tigger is still missing . . . and Mary Anne is frantic. It's time for an emergency meeting of the Baby-sitters Club.

Did we miss something on diversity?

Mary Anne used to have to wear her hair in braids, keep her room painted pink, and ask her dad before she did anything. But not anymore. Mary Anne's been growing up . . . and the Baby-sitters Club members aren't the only ones who have noticed. As a kid I LOVED the Baby-Sitters Club and would often spend hours scouring the library for the next title. Honestly, I probably read the series longer than I should have (reading level-wise), but it always felt like visiting friends. While I have never wanted to be a babysitter, I loved the club idea. As a bossy creative kid this was right up my alley. The friendships in this book was something I had always wanted. This was a series I grew up with and was my favourite for a long time. Confession time, I may have had a bit of a crush on Logan. Kristy's mom is getting married, and everyone is coming to town to help, bringing their kids with them. Fourteen kids! Kristy is sure she and Stacey, Claudia, Mary Anne, and Dawn can handle it--they're professional baby-sitters, after all, and Kristy's mom has offered them a lot of money to take on such a big job. Super Mysteries: These resembled the style of the Super Specials, with multiple narrators, only the plot of the novel was mainly focused on solving a mystery, with a few small subplots. Mother's Day is coming up, and the Baby-sitters have the same problem they do every year: What do they get their mothers? Kristy, especially, wants to do something nice for her mom. Mrs. Brewer has been acting kind of strange and secretive lately, and Kristy's worried about her.

Martin, Ann M. (2 February 2021). Claudia and the New Girl (The Baby-sitters Club Graphic Novel #9). Scholastic Inc. ISBN 9781338304596– via Google Books. Stacey's so excited! She's invited her friends from the Baby-sitters Club down to New York City for a long weekend. It's going to be perfect-a party and a sleepover Friday night, a big baby-sitting job on Saturday, and lots of sightseeing on Sunday. Karen's best friend Hannie just got an adorable new kitten. Their neighbor Amanda has a cat, too, and Karen has grumpy old Boo-Boo. Now that they all have cats, Karen comes up with a great idea. She wants to start a Kittycat Club! When Kristy Thomas has the great idea to form a baby-sitters club--a chance to earn money and spend time with her friends, all while doing something they each love to do--she has no idea how much the club will change everything. It’s also worth considering that there are 131 Baby-Sitters Club novels in the original series – plus dozens of spin-offs and 122 Baby-Sitters Little Sister novels. That’s a lot of material to adapt! Considering it takes a long time to draw a graphic novel, it’s possible Scholastic may not get around to adapting them all. Baby-Sitters Club: Claudia and the New Girl cover by Gabriela Epstein. The Baby-Sitters Club graphic novelsThe book mainly takes place at the New Jersey Shore called Sea City. The reason I say that is because Stacy and Mary Anne are babysitting the Pikes on their annual beach vacation. Stacy and Mary Anne bring the kids to the beach almost everyday because thats what they love even though they could get sunburn-like Mary Anne. If they don’t go to the beach then they go on the boardwalk. It also shows that it’s at the beach because Stacy is talking to a lifeguard that is looking over the ocean to see if he needs to go save someone or something. Lastly, since it is a graphic novel it shows you pictures of the beautiful beach settings. The twins sure are cute in their little matching outfits. But once Mrs. Arnold leaves, Marilyn and Carolyn turn into twin terrors! They run around the house like spoiled brats, and Mallory can't even tell them apart. Claudia's sister, Janine, is too busy being smart to be nice to anyone--even their grandmother, Mimi. But Claudia doesn't have to see Janine too much this summer, since the Baby-sitters Club is starting a new play group. It's going to be so much fun! Common Sense is the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of all kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in the 21st century. Stacey's friends are crushed when they hear that Stacey's moving, Claudia most of all. Stacey was her first best friend.
