Jeane Dixon is probably the oldest known psychic to make our list, but she definitely made quite an impact on the psychic community. Dixon was known for various predictions throughout her career, namely her prediction about the death of former president, John F. Kennedy. In 1956, she reportedly claimed that the next president would be a Democrat and would either be "assassinated or die in office though not necessarily in his first term". That sounds pretty dead on to us. This is Spring’s second novel to feature real-life ghost hunter Harry Price and his assistant Sarah Grey, this time investigating paranormal mysteries in the abandoned village of Imber. Although Harry is an infamous sceptic, he is soon unsettled by the events that take place – along with the reader. The seance scene in this book is a standout for creepiness, and it was interesting to read it from the point of view of a meticulous researcher trying to prove fraud. Sarah is also a fascinating character, haunted by her past and possibly touched by psychic ability.

The Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss is a great starting point for those seeking to better understand the basics of the spirit world. No matter your particular spiritual interests, you will find tons of psychic books that will pique your interest. No one writes about the dead better than Mantel. She breathed new life into the bones of Thomas Cromwell and the Wolf Hall Trilogy was full of gothic touches, but this earlier work is on another level. It tells the tale of spirit medium Alison and her toxic relationship with her manager, Collette, who inhabit a drab, threadbare life very like a ghost land in itself. They jazz up the concept of life after death to make it more palatable for their audience, however, the real fiends haunting Alison are obscene and bleakly horrific. There are some books that leave a lasting mark upon your heart, and this is one of them. The narrative follows recently bereaved spinster Margaret into Millbank Penitentiary, where she volunteers to visit the prisoners. Margaret finds herself drawn to and increasingly obsessed by Selina Dawes, a medium whose last seance left one woman dead and another deranged. Psychic Book is the best app where you can choose your expert and get all the required information through the chat easily. Be sure that all your information is protected and in the right hands, all our chats protected and totally anonymous. Be sure that you can ask any question you like and our psychics will take care of that. Want to know about the future or current relationships? What does the deceased person want to tell you? Is there a way to get a promotion? Will you be stable financially? All these questions are not a problem for our psychics and they are waiting for you to tell. For me, the fascination lay in exploring a character poised between two worlds, belonging to neither. Although the medium could be a “star” such as Florence Cook in the 1870s, her real purpose was to disappear from the room altogether. Rather than being wanted, she was a mere gateway that even the spirits suffered as an inconvenience. Nineteenth-century medium Elizabeth d’Esperance wrote in her memoir Shadow Land, “I feel very much like reminding [the ghost Anna] that she ought to be obliged to me, and take some notice of me sitting there, instead of sweeping past in so unceremonious a fashion.” After the death of her parents in India, Alice moves to Windsor to help her Aunt Mercy stage seances with the dead. Their efforts attract the patronage of Queen Victoria herself. But while Mercy is a sham, Alice is developing powers of her own that seem to link both her native and adopted countries. As always, Essie Fox provides a historical novel rich with mystery and period detail. The contrast of damp, eerie seances in Windsor drawing rooms with the heat and colour of India is particularly effective here. In a scholarly yet accessible work, Owen explores the role played by women as mediums, healers and believers during the late 19th century, detailing how the spiritualist movement subverted gender norms. An excellent selection of source material and astute commentary not only evoke the period but help the reader to engage with it. Sally Morgan or "Psychic Sally" was born in the UK and has claimed to have psychic abilities since the very young age of nine months. Sally claims to have seen her first ghost at the ripe age of four (totally normal, right?) and went on to make a career out of her creepy sixth sense. Aside from writing at least three books, Sally appeared on many shows where she would speak about her special abilities and give readings. Psychic Book is the best astrology reading app to get answers to the most disturbing questions, comes with a beautiful, user-friendly, and elegant interface that you can feel more confident and enjoy your readings even more.

The paranormal genre of literary fiction includes beings and phenomena that are outside the realm of normal scientific understanding of the natural world. Though the paranormal genre may include supernaturalist elements, this fiction genre generally includes creatures that have been popularized by folklore, fairy tales, and popular culture, such as fairies, aliens, shapeshifters, and the undead. These books range in subject matter from understanding spirits to communicating with angels to reading auras with more authority. I’m going to be completely honest with you. I believe in ghosts, I believe in prophetic dreams, and yes, I believe that some people have psychic abilities. Even if you don’t, however, all six of the psychic books on this list are an intriguing look into the world of psychic powers.John Holland is an American-born psychic who had noticed his special sixth sense at an early age, but brushed it off until adulthood. However, after getting in a car accident that almost took his life, John Holland found a new appreciation for his "gifts" as they had somehow become stronger and impossible to ignore. John Holland may be one of the most scholarly psychics to make our list, seeing that he attended an actual college for his craft at Arthur Findlay College for Psychics and Mediums in England.
