Huda Beauty Topaz Obsessions: This palette is inspired by the golden tone of the topaz stone: the Firestone. In ancient Egypt, the stone was a symbol of the Sun God, and this fusion of gold, rich browns and amber shades is perfect for creating your very own goddess vibe. Whether you want a neutral or a bold look, these 5 creamy mattes and 4 popping duchrome shades will elevate your look. Hey my loves! I’m soooo excited to finally share with you our latest addition to our Obsessions family, the Precious Stones Collection. Since you guys loved our first collection of Obsessions palettes so much, we decided to extend the range with a super luxurious new collection featuring five new shade ranges inspired by precious stones. From bold Sapphire and Ruby stones, sophisticated Topaz and enchanting Emerald to feminine Amethyst, each compact palette fuses vibrant jewel hues with lavish textures to create multiple looks. Versatile, super buildable & easily blendable, the formula applies like a dream with minimal fall out (whether you use a brush or your fingers!).

Unleash your wild side with these 4 limited-edition, universal mini eyeshadow palettes, each featuring a fierce color combo that reflects your inner animal! Whether you want a soft pop of color or a wild smokey eye, we’ve got you covered day or night! answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but I LOVE the shimmer shades, and I will probably reach for this a lot when I’m looking for shimmery shades in that super warm copper tone. However, is this a regular eyeshadow palette that I’ll use all the time? Probably not. The colours are a little too orange for me to use on the daily, and I feel like there are other palettes in my collection I love more. After 1 year of weekly use I can say that the quality of this palette overall falls somewhere in the middle. I don't think it's amazing, but it's mostly easy to work with and lasts well throughout the day. The mattes are quite chalky to the touch but perform nicely on the eye and are easily buildable and blendable. The shimmers are mostly chonky and have fall out through the day. bright orange (1), purple matte (2), purple brown matte (4), orange matte (5), punchy pink matte (8) – mica, talc, silica, magnesium myristate, dimethicone, zea mays (corn) starch, trimethylsiloxysilicate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, triethoxycaprylylsilane, synthetic fluorphlogopite, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, isononyl isononanoate, barium sulfate, tocopheryl acetate, caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, phenoxyethanol. orange & purple shimmer (3) – mica, synthetic fluorphlogopite, dimethicone, caprylic/capric triglyceride, diisostearyl malate, magnesium myristate, trimethylsiloxysilicate, isostearyl neopentanoate, phenyl trimethicone, calcium sodium borosilicate, ozokerite, phenoxyethanol, tin oxide, caprylyl glycol, silica, tocopheryl acetate, ethylhexylglycerin, triethoxycaprylylsilane. orange shimmer (6) – mica, dimethicone, caprylic/capric triglyceride, diisostearyl malate, magnesium myristate, synthetic fluorphlogopite, trimethylsiloxysilicate, isostearyl neopentanoate, phenyl trimethicone, tin oxide, ozokerite, silica, triethoxycaprylylsilane, tocopheryl acetate, caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, phenoxyethanol, calcium sodium borosilicate. purple shimmer (7) – mica, calcium sodium borosilicate, dimethicone, caprylic/capric triglyceride, diisostearyl malate, magnesium myristate, synthetic fluorphlogopite, trimethylsiloxysilicate, isostearyl neopentanoate, phenyl trimethicone, tin oxide, ozokerite, silica, triethoxycaprylylsilane, tocopheryl acetate, caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, phenoxyethanol. 3d gold shimmer (9) – mica, synthetic fluorphlogopite, cetyl ethylhexanoate, polysorbate 60, hdi/trimethylol hexyllactone crosspolymer, octyldodecyl stearoyl stearate, glycerin, squalane, silica, chondrus crispus(carrageenan), potassium chloride, tocopheryl acetate, hydroxyacetophenone, chlorphenesin, peg-26-ppg-30 phosphate, tin oxide. may contain (+/-) red 40 lake (ci 16035), yellow 5 lake (ci 19140), blue 1 lake (ci 42090), carmine (ci 75470), ultramarines (ci 77007), iron oxides (ci 77491), iron oxides (ci 77492), iron oxides (ci 77499), manganese violet (ci 77742), titanium dioxide (ci 77891).Chameleon:A color-pop of vibrant yet wearable shades. Expect deep purples, pinks and sunset oranges. As for the shimmers, they are incredibly smooth and pigmented. The swatches above are with no primer underneath and applied dry. Even so, they look absolutely incredible. However, like I mentioned above, the colors lean more sultry on my medium skintone as there is no light shimmer, so just keep that in mind if you’re hoping to use this as an everyday palette. It’s not that much of an issue for me though because I can always use highlighter as an eyeshadow.

But putting that aside, I have another one of the HUDA Beauty mini palettes and I thought I would share with you my thoughts and feelings! If you prefer to start your eye with a base colour, you’ll be pleased by the inclusion of the “so shy” cream colour (best for light to medium skin tones). Our Haze Obsessions Palettes welcome a new softer side to the smokey eye with 3 gorgeous colorways in Khaki, Purple and Sand.

It’s no secret that HUDA’s shimmer formula is one of my favourite out there! They’re pigmented, and buttery and apply beautifully onto the lid without the need for wetting your brush! They also last FOREVER on you lid! Three of the shimmers in this palette are pretty much the same shade, but they are all so pretty and the deeper coppery brown is such a gorgeous deep shimmer! That said, if we had to choose, Huda Beauty’s topaz obsessions wins out. While the look of the palette isn’t quite as dazzling as Vieve’s, we appreciate the fact it’s small enough to pop in your bag for daytime touch-ups, for travel, or even to go from a day to evening look. Huda Kattan is an Iraqi-American make-up artist, who studied make-up in LA and then began working with celebrities. She founded her own cosmetics range, Huda Beauty, in 2013, which was originally available in Sephora stores in the US before becoming available in the UK. There are four foil shades in this palette in various warm-brown hues, and five mattes including a vibrant warm yellow, a pale pink shade (which could be used as a base), two medium-warm browns and a dark but warm chocolate brown. Huda Beauty Ruby Obsessions: Striking ruby red tones have to be one of my fav looks. Whether I’m feeling a sexy sultry eye or a feminine, flirty pink, this palette has me covered. Just like the stone itself, it’s super opulent, with 5 vibrant duochrome shimmers and 4 creamy mattes.

Topaz #4

Just like the OG Obsessions palettes, each palette has nine super-pigmented, creamy and ultra blendable shades that give maximum color payoff. Matte, shimmer and duochrome shadows work together in perfect harmony or as stand-alone shadows. Whether you want a dramatic, vibrant look or soft glam, each palette can create a diverse range of stunning looks. Rich, bold colored eyeshadows are so hot right now, so whatever your fav shade is, these will keep your look on trend for fall. Sand Haze Obsessions: The ultimate wearable smokey eye comes to life with a series of creamy nude mattes, pink bronze metallics and a rose gold shimmer. The perfect palette for anyone who thinks a classic smoky eye is a bit too much for them. Python:Totally transformative gold & green duo-chrome shades with complementing earthy tones, finished with a striking blue & powerful green. Khaki Haze Obsessions: A seductive edit of olive and caramel-hued mattes, warm brown shimmers and a decadent gold-pink duo-chrome topper. The color story in the pans is quite nice, it looses quite a bit of variation on the eye though. Shades #3 and #8 are basically dupes, the only difference is that shade #8 shows up as a more vibrant version of shade #3 and it's useless in terms of deepening up the look if paired with shade #3. The shimmers #6 and #9 are technically two very different shimmers, but once they are on the eye together you can barely tell them apart. Shade #2 is also barely distinguishable if paired with shade #6. Shade #4 pulls so orangey that it almost dupes shade #2, there are only slight textural differences. As you can see above, this palette features many rich, sultry shades. There are five mattes and four shimmers, all of which are very warm. I think the colors are very beautiful, but when I think of topaz, I think of yellow. Although there is a yellow in this palette, the overall color story leans more orange and brown. So, I guess this palette is more like poppy topaz versus a true yellow topaz. Huda Beauty Sapphire Obsessions: If you love creating bold new looks, then feast your eyes on our Sapphire Palette with 5 glistening duochrome shades and 4 buttery mattes. I’m obsessed with the vivid turquoise shades and electric blue is just the coolest pop of color if you want to make a statement. But it really boils down to Huda Beauty’s formulas: the pigmentation and true-to-pan finish is the ultimate clincher.

Ruby #8

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when Purple Haze Obsessions: An addictive collection of mauve and nude mattes, disco violet and copper metallics, and dazzling lavender and bronze shimmer toppers! Make a statement with this dreamy berry delight! The creamy mattes blend seamlessly on the lid, while the stunning, semi-sheer metallics add extra glam, and the high-drama foil metallics bring killer dimension. Every. Single. Time.
