Aping Lynch’s visual style and elliptical cuts (somewhat pretentiously I’m afraid) this is nevertheless a really interesting watch. A brand new 4K restoration of David Lynch’s 2006 surrealist masterwork starring Laura Dern in one of her finest roles.

Arguably no director in cinema history has come closer to allowing the audience to experience a waking dream (or nightmare) quite like Lynch.
