The T2 has an advertised stroke length of 10mm. We did our own measuring with our digital caliper and it is indeed 10mm (or 10.19mm to be precise). The Ekrin Athletics B37 (left) is larger and more powerful than the more portable Ekrin Athletics ... [+] Bantam. JONATHAN BAUDOIN for Forbes

The Opove M3 Pro has an impressive battery life of up to eight hours on a single charge, which was the highest capacity among those I tested. That means you can charge it once without doing so again for weeks, depending on how often you use it. One consistency here is the rather short handle – unlike what you find with a Hypervolt, for example.

What is it?

Overall we would say the T2 has a perfect size and weighs just enough for a full-sized gun. However, it feels more like a revamped C2 rather than a new device. PORTABLE & QUIET MASSAGE GUN: About 35- 50dB working sound level, It can be easily used at home, office, gym and will not disturb others. It is lightweight for its size(Only 2.1 lb; Gross weight 3.3lb with carrying case) and has a great compact carrying case to transport whenever you are on the go. When evaluating these massage guns, I focused on their versatility and features that extended their functionality. A diverse selection of head attachments allows for targeted relief across various muscle groups, and I looked for massagers that came with multiple options. As we said, this device looks a lot like the first Hypervolt silver, and the controls are a bit similar as well. Make a difference in your life! Mebak always care about your health by designing many kinds of massagers to make you be better.

This is a slightly bigger product with no adjustable angles, so it takes some getting used to, but the results are worth the learning curve. Sonic X Portability: A portable and lightweight massage gun is ideal, especially if you plan to use it on the go or travel with it. Consider the weight, size, and the case included. Quiet, portable and with an ergonomic curved-handle design, Lifepro’s Sonic X has a great look and delivers big relief. Bob and Brad know what attachments you need to massage the whole body, so they included 5 nicely varied heads for this gun.

The handle is also slightly longer and, contrary to the T2, it has rubber all over it to make handling easier.

We love how Taotronics ( an alternative below) executed the rubber on the handle. Maybe Bob and Brad can borrow a thing or two. Need to ratchet up the intensity? Vybe is not messing around. Plus, it comes with seven attachments out of the box, which is better than most competitors.

Design and features

Therabody pairs the Elite with five attachments—a dampener, standard ball, thumb, cone and wedge—that are made from a forgiving, closed-cell foam that’s softer and more malleable than the hard plastic attachments on other massagers I tested. If it were possible, I’d use these attachment heads on massage guns from competing brands. While many other attachments looked similar, these had the best feel—I never really found another set quite like them. Each attachment targets a specific region or feature of your body, so you’ll rarely find yourself with a stubborn pain point that this gun can’t reach. From head to toe, it provided the best combination of massage and user experience compared to the competition. Needless to say, my muscles were happy. Consider the battery life of the massage gun and weigh that against how long it takes to recharge the battery once it’s dead. Longer battery life is particularly useful if you plan to use the massage gun for extended sessions or multiple sessions between charges, like if you’re taking the device along for a running race. Some massagers, like the Bob & Brad C2 and Q2 Mini, feature fast-charging capabilities to reduce the time it takes to recharge. Ergonomics

Our massage gun is equipped with the updated noise reduction technology brushless motor, which makes the noise between 35dB-50dB. You will enjoy massage time smoothly and comfortably.

What I’d change

Dr. Jason Wersland invented the first Theragun as a product of necessity, meant to treat chronic pain from a motorcycle accident in 2007. He found that percussive therapy gave him ongoing relief like never before. Addsfit is a strong brand that’s been around for a while now. The MAX is their flagship model. It has some interesting specs, especially when comparing it to the T2. Personal preferences, body types and sensitivities shape our perception of comfort and effectiveness, and this is what makes using a massage gun such a subjective experience. For example, a 2014 study from the National Library of Medicine in the USA confirmed that percussive therapy 'significantly' reduces DOMS at 24, 48 and 72 hours after exercise.
