I could manage decent accuracy but the trajectory was terrible so I gave it up after playing around for a while. Every test described above would involve dry-firing as spring-piston gun and that’s something I won’t do. So, the question is, are you committing an offence by keeping your airguns and pellets in a locked gun cupboard ? Don’t think you could make a 30g arrow with conventional materials… the points alone are 100 to 145g.

Airgun darts are not suitable for use in some air pistols or air rifles, continued use may 'score' or smooth out the internal 'bore' pattern and should be used in a smooth bore barrel.
