In all the years I've been watching Leicester I've never so much as been hit or anything simialr, despite walking through pitched battles on a number of occassions. The stories and accounts of what has gone down over the last 30-40 years are very well put down in words and the book is a great read to anybody who takes an interest in the casual culture, especially the stories from the lads who have been involved in the action in the early days and the 80's. As a result of this incident, Leeds were banned from European competitions for four years - although this was later reduced to two years on appeal. The perpetrator was subsequently sent to prison for four months and handed a life ban from attending future matches in England.

Of course the Football Intelligence Unit of the NCIS woulnt think of monitoring a site like this would they?In 1985, when football hooliganism was rife in England, the BBC Six O'Clock News had a special report in which they listed the worst football hooligan gangs creating mayhem across England and Leeds United were listed amongst the worst five clubs. During the height of the hooliganism, the Service Crew became one of the most notorious firms in European football, [2] and in doing so nearly brought the club to its knees. As result of this, Leeds United were banned from European competitions for four years, however this was eventually brought down to two years after an appeal.

By January 1987, the club's reputation for hooliganism was so bad that when they were drawn with non-league Telford United in an FA Cup third round tie, the Shropshire club refused to host the game at their Bucks Head ground; it was instead played some 30 miles away at the stadium of West Bromwich Albion. The 1975 European Cup Final against Bayern Munich in Paris, saw the Germans run out 2-0 winners amidst controversial decisions by referee Michel Kitabdjian. Football hooligans in general only fight each other, they do not fight with passers by or the public going about their business. For 40 years they have run riot across the country, punching their way to international notoriety, yet they have remained the most secretive of all mobs.

Was waiting for you to turn up Janx Leeds to be fair has a good town centre especially the posh clothes bit. The police eventually launched Operation Wild Boar to take down the ringleaders, only to convict a small number of relative fringe players. Leeds had two penalties turned down before Peter Lorimer’s disallowed goal led to rioting by the Service Crew as seats were ripped up and thrown onto pitch. Brighton was the last away match of the season and a few decided to go down on a minibus to London on the Friday before the match. Around 100 of the Leeds fans then ran toward the South East stand where the away supporters were sat watching the game.

On 28 April 2007, during the Championship game at Elland Road with Ipswich Town, about 200 home fans spilled onto the pitch and forced a 30-minute delay after a late Ipswich equaliser all but sealed Leeds' relegation to League One. This Leeds Service Crew hoodie features the words 'When you're good no-one remembers, when you're bad no-one forgets'. Back in 1985 when football hooliganism was rife within England, BBC 6’O clock news ran a special report which listed some of the worst football hooligan firms that created chaos up and down the land, Leeds united were among the top five worst clubs. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. Having previously read 'Muscle' by Carlton Leach, 'Cass' by Cass Pennant and 'Steaming In' by Colin Ward, this book seemed a natural continuation on the subject of football hooliganism, provided an in depth look at Leeds United's hooligan gangs (or firms) from around the 60's to the noughties, from the main firm, the Leeds Service Crew and moving on to the development of more recent firms such as the Very Young Team and the Infant Hit Squad. They emerged as the casual era dawned and, against the violent backdrop of the Miners' Strike, quickly became feared by their terrace foes.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Those that follow football will know that Leeds United have traditionally had a large following and that they have a hatred of Manchester United but Gall is very thorough and details the hooligan rivalries with other Yorkshire teams such as Bradford, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Doncaster, Sheffield Wed and United as well as London rivalries, European activity and the far right element to Leeds hooligan gangs.

On 28 April 2007, during the Championship game which took place at Elland Road against Ipswich Town, about 200 home fans managed to find their way on to the pitch and ended up forcing a 30-minute delay after a late Ipswich equaliser which all but sealed Leeds relegation to League One. Just read last years comments ,hard to believe ,I just remember him as an out and out loonatic ,he would fit in well with this fuckin Isis crowd in Iraq, but on 2nd thoughts he is probably too violent even for them. The last game of the season at Brighton and Hove Albion saw the Sussex club relegated to the Third Division after Leeds beat them 1-0. There in the middle of the argy-bargy, sat on a bench, was Kenny and partner in yet another passionate embrace, with his poor son looking thoroughly bored.
